You're not wrong there, it's compounded by the fact I am very very bad at just sitting on my backside and taking a break. I'll have to work on that ;)

Evening all. Had a really busy day today. Didn't go out shopping as planned. helped hubby finish grouting the tiles in the kitchen so another job ticked off the list.
Also potted up 24 plant pots for the garden as well as pressure washed all the patio and paths around the house. decided I would sit down this evening, but then noticed that the sun had moved away from the back windows, so just cleaned them all inside and out. Will try and do the front of the house tomorrow.

If the weather stays good over the weekend, then I might paint the shed then start on the fence panels, only problem is they seem to go on forever. Does anyone use one of the spray on things for doing fences? If so are they any good. I normally just brush it on, but have problems with my elbows and last time I ended up in agony for weeks.

Thanks for asking AH. Mum is doing OK ish. Dreading next week as it will be the anniversary of dad's death, so think that will be really difficult for her.

Am finding she is quite happy in her own home and all she wants to do is come with me to the supermarkets and go to M&S for her pot of tea and toasted teacake. Sometimes though if I want to be out for longer then she will have some sandwiches in M&S too, but I can't get her to eat anywhere else. Did try House of Fraser a few weeks back, but she said can we go back to M&S next week!
Doesn't matter to me, so long as she is happy. Took her shopping yesterday but hubby stayed at home to finish tiling kitchen walls. Brought mum back to have tea with us, but she really wasn't that bothered. Said I wanted her to see my kitchen, so she agreed. Plan was we had early (for us) tea to keep her happy with meal/tablet timing, then go for a walk (well push the wheelchair) as we live less than 5 minutes from the coast. As soon as she had finished tea, she said when are you taking me home !

When we left, she did however say thank you for a lovely day, so guess she enjoyed it, although I feel we could do so much more.

As long as your mum is happy thats all that matters. She obviously enjoyed herself and went home a happy lady.

We have a Cuprinol fence paint sprayer and my ds loves it. But we do things differently than some as we take the panels out and lie them on the garden to pain them. My son is fussy and didn;t want paint on the concrete posts:rotfl:and as the panels are only 4 foot tall he takes them out to paint them.

We only use sprayable fence stuff though as he tried it once with ordinary fence paint and it didn;t work out.

Morning CW and everyone else :) . Holiday was brilliant thanks AH. Ibiza is a beautiful island and we all made good use of the all inclusive (never done it before!). The hotel was great, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, 3 pools, beach very close, super food and a nice quiet location but walking distance to lively bit. Excellent!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
