Morning CW how is DS this morning did he manage to get sleep0
-
CW - sorry your DS didn't have his op, but the emergency case sounds quite desperate. Hope all goes well on Monday for DS.
Thanks hun.
I think that saving that other young mans life was far more important, and at least they had a operating theatre free even though my son's op was put back. I feel so sorry for the chap as his life has changed forever (and thats if he actually survives).
My son doesn't even feel ill with his foot, just had a bad infection and pain. But the iv antibiotics have helped as he isn;t in pain now so thats good and who knows he might even be lucky enough not to need the op come Monday if the antibiotics start to do their job.

Sorry to hear about your son (and the other chap too). Hope he get's his op soon or the ab's work their stuff.
AH, I reckon we saved loads but maybe gained a few pounds.

My son has slept all night, he loves his own bed and got hardly any sleep in hospital.
I woke him at 7 to make him take his antibiotics and he went back to bed for a lie in. If I didn't tell him to take his tablets he would forget.
He actually told me he had 1 lot of antibiotics and some paracetamol to take, yet when I checked he actually had 2 different antibiotics
Honestly he is hopeless and needs his mum to supervise his meds.

Thanks hun. My son never sunbathes and doesn't get much rest really, he is always on the go. But I do want him to take it a bit easy this weekend before going back to hospital on Monday.

CouponWoman wrote: »We have the Cuprinol one. We originally had a really cheap one but it was useless and broke after using it once so bought the Cuprinol fence sprayer.
My ds uses it and I watched last time he did it and it was quick and easy to use. He said you get a nice even finish and the paint gets in any knots and grains in the wood so a good result.

Thanks CW, off to buy one today. Will go for the Cuprinol one then. Couldn't really see much difference in either and good to know it is quick and easy to use. We have a lot of fence and hubby hates doing fence whereas I don't mind.0 -

As the saying goes, live every day as if it could be your last. So horrific for this young man and his family. Hope things turn out OK for him, but as you say life changing if he does survive. At least you were told the reason for DS op being cancelled. You so often hear about operations being cancelled and no reason given.
Hope DS can get some rest over the weekend.0
