Have had a look at the RSH thing but looks like its not the usual get a code to your email but actually registering for an account so can't get a spare code for you guys

TS sorry your trip was canx but it is probably safest its not worth risking life for but I'm glad the hotel have sorted for you

You all mentioning the old ways of not locking doors I think we are still a bit like that here in Norfolk in this little village there is me and OH our kids and my parents and my nanny plus her relatives (my great something-or-other lol). I never have my door locked when I'm at home and my family always just knock and open the door they don't wait. My nanny will even tell me off if I knock on her door and wait :). In our last house we need even used our front door everyone used to just go straight roun the side of the house to the kitchen door

Goin to try to tackle another room to immaculate cleanly state today just can't decide which one as the kids are currently trashin most of them lol

    Cm

Yes the RSH codes get added direct to your acct if you are lucky enough:A

CM how lovely to still be able to do this and live so close to your family great for your kids to grow up in that enviroment you are blessed.:A

CM - you are so lucky that you can still leave doors open. Wouldn't dream of doing that now.
AH - agree, think we were lucky. Certainly had no gadgets, I did have a dolls pram and some dolls, can remember my dolls getting new clothes knitted or crocheted by my nan every Christmas. Other than that, we tended to make our own amusements!

On another note about leaving doors open, when we first moved into our house, we were the 1st to move in on a brand new development, I had left the door unlocked and someone walked in. I went into the hall to see who it was, didn't recognise the family and asked what they wanted. The cheeky b*ggers wanted to look around. I said sorry, this is privately owned. The woman said, Oh don't worry, we won't make a mess, but want to see what these houses are like inside. I explained that there was a show house - she said I know, but it is closed, so I thought it would be better to look around a "real house"!
Really struggled to get rid of them, so now I am paranoid about checking doors locked all the time.

    The cheek of some people:eek:

SND sad to hear about your neighbours families unfortunately it seems to have become a very selfish society these days. It seems to be the elderly that suffer the most even the elderly in homes so many have families but they never give them the time of day:(:(:( .

Aesop lovely to here about your DS's wow:T and like SND says being instilled with good values and the reasons when you are young will tend to stay with them for the rest of their lives.

TS your post abt Pontins reminds me of abt 15years back DSIL went to Pontins and they left that day and booked into a diferent holiday park she said it was awful, might try and remember to ask her which one now.

Had to order more heatin oil at the weekend only 500 litres (third of the tank) but still cost £350!!!! Which has to be all paid upfront on card b4 they will deliver shocking bu that should hopefully take us thru to the good weather

Nice short 3 day week at school for the kids this week
