No snow here but been serving as a news line form my mum and her friends as they are on Arran which has been badly hit and the power has been out since friday.

Feel the need for a rant especially after talking about good neighbours in years gone by! When I was doing housework this morning spotted that one of our neighbours who lives alone was struggling to get her car out of the garage due to the frozen snow on her drive. She was trying to move the snow to the side. Mentioned to hubby and he went out to help her. Whilst he was out there, he decided to clear the driveway of another 2 older neighbours as well. We don't have small driveways either!
One of the neighbours has 2 sons living close by as well as 3 grandchildren - all grown men who live less than 2 miles away and hadn't even be to see their mum. They don't call that often anyway, but as she has been ill and we have been knocking and doing her shopping, thought they would have called in a little more frequently. Her DS has called this afternoon spotted hubby outside and didn't even say thank you!

Rant away SnD - it gets me angry how lazy and inconsiderate some people are :mad:. I'm always out clearing our hill but some people can't be @rsed to help others.
We had a good dollop of snow Saturday but luckily main roads are OK now. Take care everyone
