Good morning all - more snow for us overnight. And more coming down atm that wasn't forecast. Roads are deathly quiet and nobody can get up or down our road:eek::eek:
One of our neighbours has had to leave her car parked miles away cos loads of cars have been abandoned.
Def not safe to attempt to go out unless absolutely necessary. Glad I did my errands yesterday.:T0 -
Had a very good day yesterday in several different ways. Ventured into nearest big town to sort some returns out, do some shopping etc and OH never moaned or grumbled. :T:rotfl::rotfl::TThat in itself is something to celebrate
:o but bumped into a friend who told me she is getting married next month on Valentines Day so something to look forward to. Everything went smoothly including shopping which I will post seperately.
Then chatted with a friend last night for a while which was very funny but gave up after a bit cos I think she had been drinking:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
If anybody has any of the £5 M & S vouchers there is a very good deal atm.
They have a meal deal on offer - normally around £8.50 ish but on offer at £5 atm
Several mains & two sides to choose from. However, if you buy three then scan the voucher the £5 is knocked off the full amount (not the offer price of £5). So 3 x meal deals = £25.50 ish - discount - voucher = £10 to pay. Didn't try it on main checkouts as some eagle eyed sa might spot it but used self scan. Also machine doesn't want your voucher so was able to recycle mine a *few* times lol
Offer ends 23rd January so if you want some be quick.
You have to get the most expensive items for it to work - which includes the meat loaf, pork or chicken joints and the cut green beans or broccoli in the sides & potatoes.
So for £10 3 meal deals that serve 2-3 people each. Not too shabby.
BTW - nicked from FB lol0 -

Good morning everyone
Snowing is coming down fast here now and no way can I get out.:( My ds will clear the drive later before the snow sets hard but the road is too bad to drive up it.
So take care everyone, stop home and watch a load of tv.
Keep warm.

Blue - hope your wrist is feeling better today, at least if you can't go out your wrist will have some time to rest.

Did you stop home all day yesterday Blue, was it too cold to go out early.

I'll swap you your parking ticket for my speeding ticket:cool: For once my OH was quite sympathetic about my speeding ticket as he could see how I could think the speed on the road was more as it was a duel carriageway. It was a good job he was cos he got caught by a speed camera himself last week. First time in about 20+ years he has been caught.
I'll catch up a bit more later today as I don't wanna give you all too much to read all at once:o:o
I bet you oh was really pee'ed off with the speeding ticket, at least he can never moan now about yours:rotfl:.
