I know few weeks ago I saw one in the 70% sale I was going to get one for myself but felt it was a bit indulgent and I am a little absessed with boxed cutlery sets would love one of them that comes in a fancy wooden box:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that's why was worried it was more because I liked it rather than who I was buying for so thought who better to ask than the wise people on here:D;)

I need some knew cutlery as my forks have disappeared sure they get thrown in the bin:eek: but suppose it is better to just buy some forks rather than a whole canteen of cutlery:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The cutlery set is beatiful AH - I know I would be pleased to recieve it. It is neither old fashioned or modern and is I think - a classical set. It looks good quality and as though it will be quite heavy. Very nice.

Not much extra snow here today. Cleared last night's off our hill last night with aid of lad opposite again. Cleared about 3 inch off my car this morning and managed to drop DD1 off at 9 for her job at S's and later on take DD2 and FD to local cinema to see Monsters Inc 3D. We walked to in-laws for lunch. Picked DD1 up from S's at 5. Main roads fine just a bit of slush, side roads a bit dodgy but passable. I hope the next dollop of snow misses us the next couple of days. Feel for those of you that have had loads.....
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

AH - that is a really lovely pressie.

Went over to mum's this afternoon to clear her drive of snow, but she said someone knocked at her door, gave his name and said he lived "down the road" and would clear her driveway so that she could get out if needed.
Managed to find out who he was and went and knocked on his door to say thank you and took him a bottle of wine. He refused the wine and said he was glad to be able to help and only hoped that someone would do the same for his mum if she needed help. He had asked other neighbours if there was anyone elderly that needed their driveway clearing as he felt it was important to keep an eye on the older folks. He wanted to feel part of the community as he has only recently moved in. Just brought a really warm feeling that someone could be so nice.
