ah... good old BLUE, of course she is celebrating a week or so, how many of you got a text from her asking : Whats for tea today/tomorrow/etc?:rotfl:

Thanks everybody, now we are back on to redundancy consultation :( if the take over is not successful:(:( my current boss is greedy he is asking too much when the company is worthless:mad: his company name is the only thing we want as it has been in the clients record for more than 30 odd years. Without myself & my colleague he will have nothing. Without the company name we will have nothing.:( We set up a new company but both our clients HQ will not let us in, even though we will be using the same workforce/staff. Their sub base & area engineers can only use us if the HQ ok it.:(

Oh ((((HUGGS)))) Doc doesn't seem like you are getting anywhere with current boss:(:(:( praying a solution can be sorted for you all.

Ts have you had birds before? They, are such great company arnt they.

sorry to hear the stress is still going on for you with work. Hugs Xx

My Mum & Dad had budgies virtually all the time while I was growing up. TBH - I am not the best at handling them myself. I think because they are so fragile I have always been frightened of hurting them. But I love to see them flying around and I love wild birds, too. I have friends who have many different kinds including Love birds, Mynahs & Parrots and my OH is great handling them as he is very confident with them. He used to be friends with people who had an African Grey and omg they were so funny as the bird liked getting inside his jacket lol

It's getting very cold here in Glasgow but no snow yet. It was very foggy for a few days during the week... a condition I never like as I think of my DD and DS on the motorway going to work in the morning.

Well, yesterday was the twelfth day of the year and I can't believe the bad luck I have had in such a short period of time. Then again I suppose (maybe) this could mean that the rest of the year could be filled with fantastically, super duper good luck. lol

Firstly, my DD finished with her BF in between xmas and newyear...they were devastated. She was upset that maybe she had pushed 'the one' out of her life and maybe regret it later. Her reason was... she felt she was missing out on life and wanted to be single again. I agree

So, since the year has started...

The heater in my car needs fixed
OH bringing the bin in... broke the driver wing mirror off
    passenger indicator light broke.

Managed to buy wing mirror cheap off ebay and change myself don't know what the other 2 probs will cost.

Drainage block in drive. Turns out it was jam loaded with BABY WIPES. Cost to repair £800.

So, don't ever flush baby wipes down toilet pan as they stick to the sides of the pipes.
My DD said... 'I havn't done this for years' Yes, I said, the men told me they had been there for years and caused a slow blockage!!!!

The last one was yesterday. Went into new M&S in Retail Park armed with coupons... came out all chuffed at saving some money until I saw I had got a parking ticket.

Awe well, bring on the rest of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't usually believe in superstitions connected with the number 2013, but i'm beginning to wonder.

Is anyone interested in any of the following coupons?

    EXPIRY 31st Jan 2013
    Just Milk, 50p
    Saint Agur Delice, 50p
Nakd Fruit & Nut Bars, 30p

    EXPIRY 28th Feb 2013
    Thompson's Family Teas Punjana, 30p

I have a few of each which I got from the BBC Good Food Show and I won't be able to use all of them, seems a shame to waste them.

So Sorry to hear you are having a bad start to the year. Can you appeal against your parking ticket?
