Don't pay the fine jaxxy unless it is issued by the local council. I was harassed for months by a private parking company. They don't have a leg to stand on. Look at the motoring forums on MSE. Lots of excellent tips and advice

PM you would love my aunts house she has so many beautiful birds and animals including parrots love birds canaries even has pairs of breeding owls which are unbelievable and gorgeous to see up close. Her garden looks more like something you would expect to see at a zoo and the parrot used to imitate the phone ringing perfectly amongst many party tricks and had a very "colourful" vocabulary lol

So sweet, what type of parrot has she got?

I would love to leave london, have a big house and garden with lots of animals. Where I got snowy from the chap had over 200 budgies lol. Luckily the neighbours like the sound.

OH would love a parrot but we have cats so not a good idea. He was thinking if there was any way we could manage as a friend of a friend needed to rehome one but it just wouldn't be safe. Instead I put her in touch with someone who rescues all types of cage birds who was willing to take him on. He was a very naughty bird though as he often used to swear and say naughty things  not the birds fault though - its the stupid people who taught him those words.
  • It had started snowing this afternoon before I went on my lovely shopping trip this afternoon and it looks like its sticking. All the fields and the trees looked lovely but it'll be chaos in the morning if it sticks overnight - esp if it freezes. Was supposed to be meeting a friend tomorrow but if its treacherous on the roads I'll call it off. No point in asking for trouble.

Jax - sorry to hear about your bad start to the year. Hopefully things can only get better.

CM - hope Junior gets a good nights sleep so that hopefully you can too.
