Morning all
Happy belated birthday blue.
Cm hugs feel for you with the lack of sleep.
Sorry if I've missed anyone. X0 -
how did I miss this? didn't even know they were doing it.
and yes Blue really is celebrating all week
Oh dear sorry Aesop, I posted a link on the 3rd of Jan as saw it on the weekly email quickly, should have highlighted it more that it was for Gourmet card:(. I was worried as knew I would be travelling on train but managed to get connection and have a go but it was only the month trial really wanted the annual membership but wont pay for one as got tastecard already just would have been nice to have had more choice:D;):rotfl:
Don't see why they couldn't have told you straight away if you had qualified for the annual one.0 -
Good morning all - beautiful sunny day here but very cold. Gonna venture out a little later as 10 days of raiding the freezer trying to find something to eat has depleted it and I fancy something nice later. Might go to M & S and see if their meal deal is still on as it will be easy but taste good - hopefully:cool:
Dr W-W - glad you got your insurance sorted out eventually. It can be soooo frustrating and guess its the last thing you need atm. Hope you are a bit nearer to sorting your work situation out.
AH - love love Les Mis - story, music everything about it. I love Alfie Boe's singing and do you remember Susan Boyles spine chilling rendition for Britains Got Talent? Everyones jaw dropped at that - awesome stuff.:T:T
Genmod - you are so right about getting out of the house for a while when you have been stuck inside. Think it went to my head a bit like a sugar rush lol. Hope your eye probably is better now.
PM - so pleased for you that you are feeling a little better now. You are so right - birds are good company and each one has their own little character and funny little ways. Baby steps but when you are ready hun ........
Hope evryone has a great day whatever they are doing - I'm looking forward to going out later for an M & S visit and whoopsie shop. Other than that gonna try and put some of my junk - sorry treasures :rotfl:- on ebay. Boring boring but need to de clutter so will try and stick with it:(:)0 -

thought you meant it was for tastecard. I missed the gourmet as was busy at work, but I got one free for 3 months from VIP club.
by the way the 75p they charge is for heavy catalogue of who supports Gourmet card, and what extras you get if you pay for full membership, discounted cinema tickets and something else I forget, hotels I think .0 -

Thanks everybody, now we are back on to redundancy consultationif the take over is not successful:(:( my current boss is greedy he is asking too much when the company is worthless:mad: his company name is the only thing we want as it has been in the clients record for more than 30 odd years. Without myself & my colleague he will have nothing. Without the company name we will have nothing.:( We set up a new company but both our clients HQ will not let us in, even though we will be using the same workforce/staff. Their sub base & area engineers can only use us if the HQ ok it.:(
RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

Is there no way you and your colleagues can reach a compromise with your current boss re the name of the company.
ie - you buy the company and name and the soon to be old boss retains, say 10% of the shares in the company. Would that appease him and make sense for the takeover as well.
