Have you got someone to get you anything for the cough a gee linctus or something may help. :)

You do right not going shopping giving the time for your body to recouperate and rebuild it's energy, especially with temperatures now dropping again after it being so mild. We got the damp fogg here again:(

I am Ok thanks for asking:A

I don't like taking any sort of medicine, I usually end up being sick if I try. The only medicine I can take without problem is good old Buttercup syrup, we were brought up with this and love the taste.

My ds would go and fetch me anything I want anyway, but for now will just stay warm and see how I go.

The weather is really damp here too, no fog today so far, though the other day was really foggy and damp. Nothing seems to dry out at the moment, the garden is so boggy no one could walk on it. Roll on summer.:rotfl:

  • Remember reading about these and giving up so you can let us all know how you get on and what they are like:) We have stayed in Edinburgh with the cheap £12 Travelodge rooms and was very central very short walk from train station room basic but we know what you get great on a budget. We made the mistake of trying to add 2 more nights to extend the stay at a B&B which was a bus ride from the city we paid 4 times the TL rate for the 2 nights and hated it the place was absoloutly freezing and regretted adding it on. So not always do you get better the more you pay we were happier with our cheap TL:D:rotfl:

We did Edinburgh last year on the cheap Travelodge deals but ours was a short distance outside the city. It was excellent with a beautiful garden surrounding it and is one of the nicest Travelodges we have stayed in. The weather was beautiful too so we were very lucky. We had the best time when we were sat in a pub beer garden in the sunshine overlooking the castle and a group of chaps came along, sat at the next table and started talking to me. We ended up having such a laugh and taking the mickey out of each other. Turned out they were a group of Doctors from Holland who didn't speak much English and were having a jolly sightseeing and tasting and enjoying the local brews. I said to them - the next bus is coming, shouldn't you be getting on it? and they just kept saying we'll get the next one. Went on until early evening when they were in no fit state to get a bus anywhere so we pointed them in the right direction back to their hotel. Hope they made it back ok :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
