  • I saw the Tune hotels deal a few months ago (£5 per room per night and I thought it was some kind of scam) but was eventually lucky enough to book one - its the one we are going to Edinburgh with at the end of the month but its got to be the worst site I have ever tried to negotiate. I was really tearing my hair out by the time I eventually got it booked - just hope its all worth the effort :)

Remember reading about these and giving up so you can let us all know how you get on and what they are like:) We have stayed in Edinburgh with the cheap £12 Travelodge rooms and was very central very short walk from train station room basic but we know what you get great on a budget. We made the mistake of trying to add 2 more nights to extend the stay at a B&B which was a bus ride from the city we paid 4 times the TL rate for the 2 nights and hated it the place was absoloutly freezing and regretted adding it on. So not always do you get better the more you pay we were happier with our cheap TL:D:rotfl:

Thanks all, just washing all the birds blankets, to quiet without them. I got the birds to help with my depression, they used to keep me company. Now there gone.

    xx

Maybe in time, when you are ready you can consider looking for another pet companion as you seem like you have a lot of love to give in their care and also helps you with depression. We got DBIL a puppy to help him, as gave him a reason to get up and get out for walks he had no one in his life and it gave him something else to focus on someone to care for who was reliant on him for their care. I know you may be less mobile with your health problems and that was why your birds were a good option as companions for yourself.:A
