    Hi All,
Not done much today. Have had DS1 and DD3 off cause of teacher training day.
Need to crack on tomorrow. Hopefully going to do kitchen, dining room, living room, porch and conservatory.
Its pretty much all open plan, so shouldn't be too bad.
Will post again in the morning with any 'extras'.
    Night....
  • Yay, we're back. Missed this board! Gave kitchen a good clean as you weren't able to tell me what to do! However, house is immaculate anyway as have done loads of cleaning this weeken when unable to get on MSE!

Will have to pretend today is Monday!

    Level 1
    [strike]Vacuum floors and sofas [/strike]
    Level 2
    [strike]Dusting, even if around everything[/strike]
[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/strike]
[strike]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/strike]
[strike]Water any thirsty plants, wipe their poor neglected leaves!![/strike] - don't have any, it would only be one more thing to neglect!
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
[strike]Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc [/strike]
[strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!! See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house![/strike]

    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • [strike]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/strike]
    • [strike]Clean a window or two.[/strike]
    • Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    • Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!! - awww!
    Deep Clean Challenge
Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. [strike]Clean fire-surrounds. Wipe sofa's down. [/strike][strike]Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!![/strike]

[strike]Take car to garage for repair[/strike]
Cross fingers that repair is covered by warranty and I don't have to pay! (Um, if you could all cross your fingers for this it would be appreciated!)
[STRIKE]Visit friend and take her son's birthday present (if car back in time)[/STRIKE] - Haven't collected car but friend came here
[STRIKE]Help DD carve her pumpkin for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Find out what I can do with pumpkin innards so not to waste them[/STRIKE]
    [strike]Wrap ebay parcel[/strike]
    [strike]
    Post ebay parcel
    [/strike]

  • Morning all. Can't believe we're back on. Missed you all, so decided to start posting again.
DS2 back to school today but DS1 off till tomorrow still. should get some flying done though because he usually sits in his room all day.
Hubby is off work for 'god only knows' how long. He's been in hospital twice with an infection in his knee. he's had 5 operations on it and now he can't walk. It is such a good job that i am organised this year for christmas and have got most of the pressies or we would be screwed. Still not sure how we will manage normal living on what we have coming in, but we will just coz we have to.
Anyway. hope you are all well.
And big hugs to all that need them. And prayers being said here for baby matthew.
    Nothing to declare ;)

I'm not posting alot but I'm still here doing a bit! I'm training people at work this week so yesterday I dropped the littlies at school and playschool, was at work just before 9.30am and left to come home just after 7pm......... rather a long day and I have to do it again today. I'm scared my house will just be charred remains when I come home as when I leave the house the DW, WM, TD, BM and SC are all on!! Luckily my mum comes over to fetch the littlies from school so she can check that everythings ok.:D

So, have to leave in 10 mins - big ((hugs)) cos I miss you all when I work silly-o-clock hours. xx

    Hello everyone!

Was seriously at a loose end yesterday without this thread - just shows how much time I must be on here chatting and reading the thread! I missed everyone really badly!

Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry to hear that things went downhill with little Matthew so quickly lil_me. Hopefully now he's had his op he will start to improve. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for him.

Well I didn't do any flying yesterday - BAD MOUSE! Will whizz around the kitchen today cos I'm off to play nurse once I've got dressed, as my Mum has hurt her back, so I'm taking round my ingredients to make my flapjacks that I've been meaning to make for the last week. Got some cranberries for free yesterday to put in them for a change, as there was a voucher on the milk carton.

I'm going to Portsmouth on Thursday to sign up to a supply agency that I came across at the teaching fair I went to last week, so hopefully I will be out in the classroom and earning some proper money soon. I'm a bit scared though cos I haven't taught since June, and I think I've lost a bit of my confidence due to all of the knock backs I've had.

Well the kitchen is calling me (luckily I don't have a dining room so that's one less room to worry about), so I'd better get a wriggle on, or my Mum will wonder where I've got to as well.

Happy flying today everyone! It's so nice to be back!
