We really need a 'holding' site, somewhere to go in the event of further mis-hap, even if only for information.

There is a thread called 'MSE Refugee Camp' on the site Paid to Shop (click HERE for the thread) A lot of MSEers went there and were made to feel welcome :T

I am a believer in what goes round comes round - so I am happy that at sometime in the future something bad is going to happen to those folks that tried to damage this site. They should spend their time on more constructive things like sewing mailbags!

If only the world really worked like that, where crime doesn't pay, good things happen to good people and bad people always get their cumuppance and the good guy always beats the bad guy. Unfortunately from what I've lived of life so far that only seems to happen in movies.

Still having problems here. Our ISP is BT. I can't get on here by typing www.moneysavingexpert.com into my browser window. I only got here by going into facebook onto the group Ol Style MSE and following a link to a forum. Will post back with the error message in a min.

It's coming up as a LiveSearch page. I've even just deleted my history/cookies/form data/temporary files etc and it didn't help. Clicking on a link that comes up to momeysavingexpert (I picked one at random to try them out) took me to a page that said Internet Explorer can't display the webpage- diagnose connection problems etc. Once in the forums by the method outlined above via facebook clicking on utiilities (as a random test) also proceeded to give me a Internet Explorer can't find the webpage page. I don't seem to be able to get on to the main site at all. I hope this message makes a bit of sense to the techies. If you need further info just post in this thread and I will try and reply as best I can- if I can come back in here later that is.
