Fantastic post Ames, thank you! My thoughts exactly that Noodlesoup doesn't understand the descriptors or what they mean. Which was the reason i used my daughter as an example. I most certainly didn't compare her, to the OP. We both know that when it comes to PIP you can't compare 2 people.

I think the OP is being very optimistic in the points they have awarded theirself and they maybe very surprised with the outcome of the assessment.

I'm very curious to see how it goes. With so little insight into what does and doesn't give points and confusion over the ruling giving false hope it may lead to MR when the OP may finally take advice.

Having a disability or medical conditions in itself don't give automatic access to benefits. You are required to meet a very specific criteria and most do not despite the problems they have.

I think OP you're just going to have to wait for your rescheduled assessment and the decision following it because you do seem to have an unrealistic way of measuring your entitlement, and don't appear to want to hear that from anyone here.

You've again used reflux as an example of a disability and as why you meet certain criteria, reflux is horrible and painful, but isn't a disability, and is eminently treatable.

I hope your assessment is soon so that you can put it behind you
  • I have recently had to apply for pip and my understanding is that there is only 1 click box per question so was confused when i read this. I am also taking lansaprezole for acid reflux but didnt mentioned it because i know alot of friends at have it but wouldnt class them selfs disabled because of it.
