Hi I had the expected no way hose from Yes Car credit/Direct Auto Finance so asked for and received a copy of the T&C's. Apart from the bits I signed being illegible I found the underwriters as being The National Insurance Group of the GAP insurance (you know until I looked I never realised I had it) and two companies listed under customer care as Advent Administration Solutions and Criterion Life Assurance Limited.
So what next. They both are listed as being regulated by the FOS. So do I write tot hem with my complaint or ask the FOS to chase these companies?

Hi,
10 weeks ago I received a ruling in my favour from the FOD for misselling of a ppi from barclays. I rang them this morning to ask what was happening and was told that I was not entitled to any payment as barclays had already paid me for a prior ppi on a different loan.
Is this correct that barclays will only pay out once - I also have a ppi on my mortgage so i guess thats gone too!
Does anyone know anything about this rule?0 -

Banks pay mis sell of ppi if you have been mis sold, all ppi you had from all loans you have/had with them.
Are you sure that this is what they meant? i have never heard of this before, with the ppi you are claiming for ,did you make a claim on the insurance? as if you did, they may have paid you more for the claim, than you paid in ppi, this is what they could mean.0 -
Hi with regard to my chasing yes car credit. I have written to the two companies listed as under writers and Criterion Life Assurance Ltd has been returned as moved away (Address in Petersfield Hants). A quick search and I have found that Reliance Mutual may now be the owner of the company. I have sent them an e-mail asking if this so and will post my results on here and the Yes Car Credit forum.0

Lloyds TSB have offered me £5k plus 8% simple interest on my credit card, should I hold out for my account to be put back as if no ppi was ever taken out?0
