    Managed to fix my camera! Came across this video and followed the instructions

    Solution:

    1.Goto "Run" windows+R then type"regedit".

    2.Now locate"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - software -Microsoft -windows media formation -platform.

    3.Now right click on it platform then choose"DWORD 32bit value and rename it to "Enable Frame Server Mode".

    4.Then double click on it and set value to "0".

    5.Finally once restart your pc the problem is solved
