"I've just received your fine notice and I'm shocked you feel a parking fine needed to be issued. I wasn't "parked" or obstructing anyone, if you review your CCTV or what cameras you have you will see I am sat in the car with the car engine running the entire time, you can see from the second picture the driver (me) in the driving seat which is where I was. During this time nobody else came in or out of the parking area, which I'm not in a car parking space blocking anyone"
I go against just about ALL the advice on this forum as I came to this forum only after my c**p appeal was rejected.
See why I'm panicking? plus its a day out of work as well as ending up likely paying the original £100. Or is it likely PPL will only accept the elevated fee with all their made up legal costs? if they'd accept the £100 I'd probably rather pay that and make this all go away

Hi all, I'm moving house at the end of this week, I've not heard anything from them since the above. is there anything I need to do? do I need to inform anyone of my change of address?0
-
OK, just email both parties saying please note we are moving house on this date ... this is our new address etc?
on a side note is there a period of time where they will confirm if something is happening or not? This has been going on far too long0 -
Best way is to send an e-mail to the DPO of the PPCs informing them of your new address for service and requiring them to ERASE your old one. You also request that they inform any of their agents, i.e. the solicitors.Hi all, I'm moving house at the end of this week, I've not heard anything from them since the above. is there anything I need to do? do I need to inform anyone of my change of address?
ETA. Of course, it goes without saying (but I will anyway) don't forget to inform DVLA of the change of address for your driving licence AND your V5C (log book).0 -
All done thank you
Is there a period of time you would expect to receive a court summons if they where to go down this route? I hate this hanging over me. I've not heard from them for a while0 -

You'll never receive a summons, you've done nothing criminal. However, they have 6 years to issue civil court proceedings, which could arrive tomorrow, or any time until 2025. And they use that uncertainty to weigh on their victims.
It's, 'How long is a piece of string?', I'm afraid. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You'll know how to find a DPO's email by one Google search, as per the NEWBIES thread section about getting data under a SAR. Use the same email address as for a SAR.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
