As the NEWBIES thread says about SARs, pretty much any PPC's data protection bod's email is found by Googling the name of the PPC and the word privacy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

I did read and for two hours, it's a hell of a lot to take in. I ended up with about 30 windows open from reading the newbies thread. I also googled their email but it was the 'privacy' bit I missed. Sorry, I have found it now following your comment thank youAnd how do they break this down please

Oh Dear, here we go again.
The principal (so called debt) is £100 which amounts to a contract formed when you parked. NOTHING on the sign will state Initial legal costs of £60 unless it is in tiny T&C's that nobody can read
As such, BWLegal are adding a fake charge of £60 to which courts have told them IT IS ABUSE OF PROCESS and they kicked BWL out of court
READ THIS:-
Abuse of Process ... District Judge tells BWLegal.

In post #14 you can see what coupon-mad says you put in your defence should it go to court
Interest would be up to the court to decide but the question must be asked as to why they took so long in claiming ???
The estimated costs ... court fee and legal fees
Where does an estimate come from ? they already know what a court will allow which are the amounts shown.
So, you have to reply to the LOC. You can rebut "Principle Debt + Initial Legal Costs: £160" as the principal debt can only be £100
(Be interesting for the court how they answer that)
Ask them, as they have estimated costs, what figure would you be expected to pay.
The LOC must state facts and NOT estimates. They must prove their claim in every respect. From this moment on, what they say will be provided to the court0 -

Morning all, just received the below from PPL, is there any harm sending them any of the requested proof of ID? I did attach their original letter they sent me in the post;
We write in response to your recent Subject Access Request (SAR).
To maintain confidentiality and ensure that we do not disclose any personal data, except to the individual to whom it is applicable, the law allows us to take reasonable steps to establish and confirm your identity before we can provide any information. Please provide us with proof of your identity, in the form of a scanned copy of at least one of the following:
• Driving License
• Passport
• Council Tax or Utility Bill (not more than 3 months old) showing your name and address
• Any other official document which confirms your identity (please ensure any financial information is redacted if providing evidence from a bank or credit card statement)
If your SAR relates to either a Parking Charge Notice or Vehicle Registration Mark we also require proof that you are entitled to details for the data in connection with the vehicle in question. This must be provided in the form of a scanned copy of one of the following:
• The ownership details from the V5 Logbook
• Written authorisation from the Registered Keeper named on the V5 Logbook where this is not listed as yourself0 -
I would not use my passport or driving licence, do not give them any extra info at all
I would attach a picture of scan of my V5C, or a pic of the letter they sent to you that shows your name and address on it but they seem to have rejected this, or a picture of the N180 court claim form if they issued one
So no, I would not supply phone number , driving licence details, passport details etc
Ideally, email back with a scan of the V5C as proof of ID under the GDPR, which is what you should have done in the first place0
