At the moment we use standing orders. I'm tempted to try to set up a few direct debits and then attempt to "switch" our accounts elsewhere. Or are you allowed to set up the DDs with the new bank after the switch?

You are very brave by doing this with good old useless TSB. They will probably say you have died.:D0 -
still ongoing problems with tsb not a logging in issue but now its faster payments ref numbers that are being changed so if you have two to the same person/company make sure the refs haven't changed i'm still to hear back about my initial complaint made over a month ago.0

Rang TSB this week. Gave up after after waiting 30 mins. Rang to complain that I could not log onto TSB. Sent em to complain again.
It is bit like never ending story.0 -
