Im the registered keeper of a vehicle which received a PCN / Invoice from UK-CPM but the wording is interesting. Apologies if i appeared to hijack another posters thread so i have started my own.
Are UK-CPM AOS members, they do not appear as members on the BPA website.
Is the 14 POFA 2012 rue still valid, it appears to be and my invoice appears to be 15 days from car to issue.
Has anyone reported Gladstones to the SRA, i'm not there yet but fully prepared for this course of action.
Thanks

Have you read the NEWBIES FAQS yet?
One of the Q&A says:Q - ''My PCN is from UKCPM, or UKCPS, or Millennium (etc.) and it/the signs say they are both BPA & IPC members?''
A - NO, THEY ARE NOT, AND PLEASE NO MORE THREADS ASKING THIS!

A properly worded NTK can be used to hold a keeper liable if it arrives by day 15. A later one is not void, just can't hold anyone except the driver liable.

1. Yes. They are members of the IPC not the BPA.
2. No it doesn't exist.
3. Yes. No complaints have been upheld.0 -

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thanks
A lot have reported Gladstones to the SRA, including a
Scottish MP.
The conclusion is that the SRA is not fit for purpose as the
so called principals they preach fall by the wayside when
a complaint is made about one of their members
It's just another members club and the SRA should
be regulated by an independent government body as
they certainly do not serve or protect the public
By all means complain to the SRA about Gladstones but
expect a fob off letter in their reply ..... par for the course0 -
Thanks everyone, here is some background.
A car registered in my name was parked in Worthing at a free car park but with restrictions on where you can park, unfortunately the back wheels were on a chevron which was deemed an offence and therefore subject to £100 fine reduced to £60 if paid within a certain timeframe. Apologies but this is my first issue with a private company and after reading through this forum it seems like a huge problem. Anyway the car was issued with the invoice on the 30/04/18 and the Notice issue date on the letter is the 15th, hence my POFA 2012 question.0 -
It isnt a "huge" issue, but an irritation you can easily deal with
If there was a WINDSCREEN notice, tehn they cannot access the DVLA until day 29 - 56 to send out the NtK
If there was no notice on the windscreen then it had to be DELIVERED within 14 days.0 -
Great news it clearly did not get DELIVERED in that time frame but i'm also curious about the wording their letter which says "We have REQUESTED your details from the DVLA" Surely that should say we have RECEIVED?0

Anyway the car was issued with the invoice on the 30/04/18...
Was a windscreen ticket issued or not?0
