Dont skimp on cooling, a big fans are usually preferable to small fans, or fast rotating small fan.

Make sure of the air flow path does not collide.

Get Rufus (but there are many) to install the iso onto a usb and make it bootable.

The graphics card should have its own fan

Thanks the USB I was purchasing has Win10 installed as brand new via Amazon (asI'm not using dvd drive)-my question is when I build this i3 -will a brand new ssd take win10 from a new usb immediately -there was another forum which suggests a new ssd is connected to Sata port1 on new Hdd -I thought a new ssd would connect direct to mother board -unless I'm wrong

The old way is to connect the ssd to a sata port and is what many of us do.

The new way is the ssd on a card BUT there are a few different types of cards and they are not fully compatible. Dont just buy any old m2 card as it may be the wrong type.

Yours is the latest Ultra-Fast NVMe PCIe Gen2 x2 2280 M.2 Connector and is on the motherboard just scroll to the picture https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H310M-S2H-rev-10#kf

Treat it as a normal drive.

    Decided 99% Cisco's i3 build

Any reason as to why you went with the i3 build?

The i3 decision is in my build thoughts for quite some time.
From recent reviews elsewhere it seems to be a viable option for my 1st Win10 build -the 8100 will allow some room for adding a GPU during 2019.
I'm not posting to begin any disagreements over which is the better cpu choice. I have some experience in using i5's at least via laptops both home and offce. I3 is a slightly different cpu which I haven't yet used.
Ryzen have also been getting excellent reviews -though the speed of various versions of CPU's from both amd+intel is lightening fast-

Thanks exactly the advice I required ahead of ordering 1st batch of build hardware.
Things are starting to make sense from the board specs link.

    Ultra-Fast M.2 with PCIe Gen2 X2 & SATA interface

Then I can use the board SATA interface for both ssd and hdd drives or is it best to daisy chain them.

You don't daisy chain SATA drives. Each device has its own channel. With the i3 build you are going with, the SSD is a SATA one, so it will plug in just like a hard drive.

The SSD in my build is an M.2 one, which slots into a dedicated connector on the motherboard.

Whilst I thought I was beggining to understand M2/NVME/PCIE
    To avoid any further confusion.
With the motherboard having the above type of connection/controller.
Is purchasing a card essential to connect both M2 ssd+Sata HDD?
Or can I not just use the exsiting motherboard connections+cables.

Think 'll purchase M2 ssd to take advantage of motherboard NVME connector.
    Corsair Force MP500 120GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD/Solid State Drive -55.99-Scan.
And since I read Flapjackboy latest reply-seem s I wont need any card at all

The following video is a good primer on M.2 SSDs.
