BrightonBelle, I really do feel bad for you, Im with Bails, a little money spent now, might make things better (even if a little) quicker?
Would a hug hurt you too much???? :grouphug:Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Bighton belle, hugs are my forte. *huggle* hope your pain eases up and good luck for friday. It ifs any consoloation, my future mother in law is the !!!!! from hell also. She wouldnt come out with rubbish talk like that but cor she is pure rubbish. Give as good as you get, my boyfriend and i did after two years of it!
suggs, do you need to pay a trip to specsavers!!! he is the better looking one. Im just glad no one on here said, "is that your brother!" Do we get a pic of you? preferibly in ones shorts with a bit of mud after a good old fight on the rugby pitch! ROFL
Bails: im probably a touch bigger now than in my benidorm pic as that was when matt and i had only been going out for 9 months then! my bmi is 25 and my body fat % is 34% (eek) so really im aiming for a one stone loss which takes me to 9st 4lbs.
Retiredlady: Congratulations on your loss! thats super!
Missyg: ha, yes thats the frightening image many see as i walk into the cubicle! Work was tough on saturday, i hate christmas sometimes! I work again tomorrow which is rubbish as its the staff christmas party tonight so must remember not to drink too much wine! otherwise weekend was fab. Sadly though i had a KFC and went to the harvester for a meal but i didnt have a desert! How was your weekend?0 -
Hugs BB...have you tried a hot water bottle to help the pain a little?
Hope it works out ok and I think a sooner visit to an expert will be well worth it as you could do yourself a lot more mischief over four months!!!
Is there anyway you can recreate your standing position horizontally? with cushions and the like....try lying on the floor and stuffing pillows or socks under the bits that hurt...?!?!?doubt it would work but if you can find something remotely comfortable in a horizontal/semi horizonatl position you might get a little shut eye....
Didn't have any lunch with me today so popped out for a sandwich...Turkey and cranberry ginsters was all that caught my eye...as its 484kcals I forwent any crisps or additionals and am now feeling nice and controlled...figured as I have only had an orange and shreddies this morning its not going to do much harm...0 -
KPC, I've added you on FB, anyone else feel free to find me in the Bristol network.
Well done Serendisglair, sounds sensible to me; mm, turkey and cranberry! Had sprouts yesterday, got me in the Christmas mood! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Happy to report ¾lb loss, by my meticulous calorie calculations it should have been a full 1lb but TOTM is looming and perhaps that has a bearing. This half stone is just the stubbornest 7lb i've ever tried to lose in my life!!!
Still, I can be very pleased because a) it wasn't a gain b) it's 3x what I lost last week c) 4 light and 2 hard workouts is less than i was doing before d) I'm on a healthier calorie intake now (1200) and e) I can now lower my BMI a fraction!
What I'd give to be able to report my losses in complete pounds again though!!!! :rotfl:0 -
hi everyone, well i guess that i'm here for some moral support i used to go to SW but my friend could never be bothered turning up so i gave up myself! i want to start over but i can't really afford the fee. should i start now or wait untill after christmas like everyone "advises"?
also i'm looking for the SW recipe for lamb rogan josh if anyone can help
not sure what else to put!)
:starmod:If you dance with the devil, the devil don't change. The devil changes you:starmod:0 -
hi crystal fire. You'll find good regular support here! cant help you on the lamb rogan josh though. Have you tried googling it?
congrats missyg! every little helps as tesco says
My scales are really rubbish, i dont think if i stood on them id be able to take that for gospel/gospal? perhaps i should buy a better set. i came out 10st 7 but in boots i was 10st 4.0 -
Bails, sorry to hear you're poorly
Seems to be more than our fair share of suffering going on here
Dragon, I'm so sorry to hear that too. Can you at least expect some improvements? Noticed you've started saving for a trip to Japan, what was the previous thing? *nosey!*
Suggs, it has to be a muscle building thing, it just can't be anything else, assuming you're not tucking into pizza and KFC at half timeMoving the weigh day sounds sensible then it has chance to even itself out before the next game. Once I've worked on flattening this tummy completely then I would be happy to be your cheerleader if you don't mind the fact I'm 20 years too old for that sort of thing!
BByou definitely can't go on like this, it sounds horrendous. I'm angry at this MIL comment towards you, that's completely out of order! Who does she think she is!!!
Vixarooni, have fun at the do tonight. My weekend was brill thanks, spent about half of it glued to the winter sports on Eurosport though, hahaha! (I'm a snow and ice addict).
Crystal_fire hi and welcome! Start now! No time like the present when it comes to dieting! You'll find lots of moral support here.
Right I'm off to track some peeps down on Facebook0 -

Unfortunantely also have to see my un mother -in-law this afternoon and I don't feel I'm going to be quite as able as usual to turn the other cheek. Did I mention that recently she said to me " it's such a shame dear it's so hard for you to look attractive standing next to my other d-in- law..." .

BB there are hugs hugs and more hugs coming your way
Can't you just say no to any more visits to your MIL? Just think how lovely it would be for her to have her son all to herself ... and then don't you live near the sea? Could you not arrange for her to have a nice long swim in lovely cold water? Or be just as offensive as she is --- "it's such a shame dear it's so hard for YOU to look like a decent human being standing next to (any name of your choice, Attila the hun, Godzilla ...) "
What a cow. Shall I come and speak to her for you -- one MIL to another? I can do quite good shrivelling looks and extremely nasty comments. Are you in Brighton? There's a direct train from here.0
