You don't need to - the Energy Club holds them automatically.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

If it's showing the wrong provider/tariff etc, you should be able to click on 'edit details' next to each energy on the main log in page.

It will look something like this.
    Gas

    Gas Provider: My provider

    Gas Tariff: simple moneysaver

Gas usage: 100 kWh per Year
Tariff end date: 16 May 2018

just to the right of these details there is an 'edit details' button.
    Repeat for other energy type.

It’s showing, as has for quite a while, that a switch is in progress.
    This is not the case.
Subsequently I’m unable, I think, to edit anything.

Thank you for your help so far.

I updated the contract personally with the provider originally obtained via the E Club.

It will not automatically as I negotiated a new rate myself.

You need to contact CEC energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com and get them to unlock the switch in progress then enter your tariff as detailed above.
