Aaahhh I know when I read about a game I was buying that it was compatible with the DS and the DS lite but not the DSi. Most of the older games are compatible with the DS & DS lite but I know one I saw didn't state it was compatible with the new DSi - whether or not that was because it hadn't been released, but would still fit the format I'm not sure as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.

BC3000 I used the Littlewoods code on Marshall Ward before midnight on expiry and on Additions at about 2.15am after the expiry. Walk With Me came today - but no DS to play it on LOL
  • Thanks for the tip. I ordered my DS Lite black from Additions Direct last Friday and my delivery was for this Friday. I was a little worried when I read some of the posts but I needn't have because it turned up today 2 days early. Cost £70.84 including delivery! (Using the £30 off new customer voucher) ZG 754

    Thanks again!:money:

My one from Marshall Ward arrived this morning and my £30 voucher seemed to work. I haven't checked my bank yet to see if there's been any extra amount deducted, but I shouldn't think they're allowed to do that without notifying me?

I bought 'Walk With Me' and the pedometers from Additions with a DS 15 in 1 accessory pack and the £30 off voucher too so I'm pretty chuffed to say the least as the game's arrived too (not the accessory pack yet).

I have been aching to get to grips with it and set my Wii-Fit up, but the stuff I bought from Argos before I found this board was damaged so I've not got a TV or stand until Friday! Apart from that I have been glued to the laptop checking out all the sale stock from House of Fraser, and catalogue clearance from Argos :o

I really don't know how I survived before MSE forums!

I've just ordered my ds lite from littlewoods with the £30 off voucher, seemed to go through so fingers crossed! I'm assuming it comes with a power adapter as it doesn't mention it - anyone know?

A retail-boxed DS will always include a charger by default.

    Hi

Has anyone seen the red DS Lite on sale for less than £95?
  • Not exactly height of the season for buying a DS, but I'm planning well ahead, and thinking that as I want to buy one for my son for Christmas I might be able to snap up a bargain somewhere before they become really expensive and out of stock everywhere. Am I thinking right, or should I wait til nearer the time for more deals to turn up...?
After reading this thread, I think a DS Lite is the way forward, preferably a bundle with games, or possibly a really cheap one without, and there are several different options to consider; cashback, money off vouchers, using clubcard points, or perhaps getting one with a mobile contract - is it worth it...? It's a complete jungle to me and I'm hoping that someone who knows more might read this and give me a push in the right direction...?
    Thanks in advance!
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

This is my line of thinking too, and i wondered the same!! I would hate to buy one now to find that come Christmas they're all heavily reduced to compete with other stores...

However it could go the other way and there could be nothing better, but only to find they're out of stock everywhere!

It's certainly a dilemma. Not sure what to do..
