    Hiya all

Been after a DS for a while, sons bday next week.

Been looking on ebay for ages, and didnt want to pay the £80+ price they want for secondhand ones.

I eventually got a new red DS for £85.50. Is this a good deal?

I saw them in Asda for £95 (without game) and my neightbour gets 10% off there being a employee!

  • Ive just been to Argos, it was a case of being desperate and my daughter wants a pink one for her birthday.

I had a £10 voucher and £119 insurance pay out for our broken portable dvd player, (that has to be spent in argos) so I picked up a pink one for £99.97, ds accessory kit £19.99 and got a free game. (dvd player no longer required as i have one factory fitted one in my car)

by spending over £100 I got another £10 argos voucher,so I put that with my remaining £ voucher from above, and bought a 2nd game and a spare stylus kit on offer for £2.99.
  • Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get nintendo ds lite with 2 games for a reasonable price because it is a christmas present I want from my mum for christmas. I have looked in tesco direct and they are doing a bundle for £119.71 with a brain training game and maths training game.

    Thanks

  • I bought my mum a ds lite for Christmas from Game.
£114.00 for the console, brain training & scrabble.
Also through quidco about 11% hardware & 3% software.
Although I paid for mine with game card which I had traded in old games on.

Have a look on Ebay. Recently I bought a pink ds lite, bag, screen savers - which are absolutly essential to protect the screen from scratches, 18 games all for £110 delivered. All new. Plus went through quidco and got cash back .

Game, £114 with 2 games, plus 1100 of their reward points and cash back going through a site.

Toys r us £149, various colour consols, and 5 games of your choice. Again cashback through various sites.

  • For my daughters birthday we went in all the shops looking for the best deal, we bought ours from WhSmith and they are doing DS console and 2 games free for £99.99. The two games are Sega Tennis Superstars and Imagine Pet Vet. I thought this was a brilliant buy and the sega tennis is brilliant and very addictive!
    Hope this helps!
  • Does it have to be brand new? Have you looked in Cash Converters (if there is one near you?) I'd never been in one until the other day when hubby dragged me in to look at something we didn't need:rolleyes: but I was amazed at all the stuff you could get, and the prices!
