    Hi all
I need to loose weight on a budget. I've been to SW several times, the first time I got to target. I really can't afford to pay £5 per week so if it's not too late can I set a target of 8 pounds for the remaining 4 weeks please? Looking for any simple, budget meal ideas.
    Thanks LP x

Welcome LP. What sort of things do you currently eat? Most things can still be eaten with just a few minor changes. Use Frylight instead of oil for example. Use fat free instead of full fat yoghurts, switch to semi skimmed or skimmed milk and limit amount used to 250mls for SS or 350mls for skimmed. Even things like jacket potato with baked beans and some salad is good for a SW meal.

Have a read of the first page as this gives the plan in detail.

Any questions just ask as there is usually someone around who can help.

Mullers aren't the only Free yoghurts!!! I much prefer natural greek style yoghurt and have it with chopped fresh fruit. But don't have very often as I prefer quark to yoghurt.

I'm another that doesn't like flavoured yogurt. I've only just started eating yogurt at all. I like the 0% Greek style which I mix with red fruits. Total 0% is fine but the Aldi lookalike is just as good but much cheaper.

Welcome LP.:) SW really doesn't have to be expensive. The two mainstays of successful SW (meal planning and Speed fruit and veg) are very similar to mse methods.:money: So if you only buy what you need for your meal plan then you won't have waste or waste money on junk and fruit and veg are not just healthy but much cheaper to fill up your plate than large portions of meat. Denise is right, just ask if you have any questions. Many of us have access to syns online.

I'm having a much lower syn day today.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, scrambled eggs, half HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: ham, fried veg, beetroot
D: baked salmon, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (asparagus, mange tout, broccoli).
    Syns: HP sauce 1

The rice boxes are a great choice from KFC. That's what I have if DH wants KFC.

Rita I was going to suggest Ebay as well. Might also be worth looking in your local charity shops.

I prefer quark to any yoghurt, but occasionally buy the plain yoghurt... I only get muller when they are on an extra special offer :D:D:D:D
