    So....everytime, just about, that I go to the bank they are pushing about whether I do banking online.....and probably about as regularly there is a feature about people who do online banking being defrauded of thousands of pounds. Today they were featuring the TV licensing fraud on a fake website. Then I go in the bank and they are like "Why don't you do internet banking?"

    and I'm like :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Scaffolding up today, in less than an hour, very impressive.
    Less impressive was my lack of any 'normal' sugar for their tea - demorara and caster! :rotfl: Do other people have sugar?
    You can see - the reduction in sugar intake is going well.

    Tomorrow solar panels.
    May go for some alcoholic anaesthetic tonight.

    Ok ...it's me!

    Question: if I find a £20 note in my own home presumably I can't spend it and claim an NSD. :D

    Solar panels fitted today. Which means the front door and the loft hatch have been open for most of the day - bloomin nithering.
    Going out tonight aswell for African drumming session so I'll have to try and get warm in the car so that I don't cool down too much on the tram! Drumming only £5 - it's a bargain.

    Going to get another Butternut squash so I can do another curry. Will put the recipe up - it was very good with few ingrediants.

    So......

    I called this Thread "The Waterbed of debt" because in the absence of stellar budgeting skills (which believe me are absent).....I pay a bit more off / push down on one end of the bed and see the other end spring up.

    Plus as some of you will have noticed I am partial to the odd holiday or two.....or three! :o Oh dearie dearie me!

    So today :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T I have hit 35% of the mortgage paid off . Paid off in 4 years
    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    That bit is going well :D

    ....and then there's the cheque for tax for one tax year

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

    £497
    Pretty pleased with that too.

    That is going to be divided between;
    Barclaycard (lets pay off the bit they are going to charge me interest on)
    Mortgage
    A bit of a boost to savings as I pay the next bit of my solar panels
    Deposit on a holiday :o **

    So that's the good news :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    I also said I was going to treat myself when I got under the next £10k on the mortgage. Mortgage now at;

    £59,804*

    Not going to catch you though Beanie.....you miracle worker :T:T:T

    So where's the bad news :rotfl:
    As the tax repayments, mortgage payments and credit cards are pushing down :beer: the overdraft is pushing up. Made it up to £1k this month, which is too high.

    So......a few more NSDs for me I think (today and possibly tomorrow) and a bit more staying in with the beer I have already got :beer: and using the voucher when I do go out.
    Guess it was December though. It's a bit of a :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: month for everyone.

    * am allowed a little treat for cracking the next £10k - so am going to buy a bra, which with the reward scheme they run at the shop means I can get another one for free (I think this has taken be about 10 years to get to this point!)

    ** £50 - I've not gone mad!
