Had a lovely relaxing weekend albeit it slightly spendy………………had dinner out with a friend on Friday night , went to an event on saturday ( free entrance for us due to NM connections) and then on to dinner after and then football on sunday
Yesterday we chilled at home in the sun - wow what a scorcher.
Have spent more then I had expected but money is available so its not the end of the world.
Will try not to do a weekly shop this week as have my GS all weekend at my daughters house and we have plenty of options available even if we dont particulary fancy them

Been a bit fed up the last few days.
My stomach symptons have been wild and for the last few weeks have I believe been causing a lock up / burning pain down my upper right arm. This can happen apparantly if the excess gas is so extreme it causes pressure on to your nerves, my reading apparantly is very high , you require a reading of 10 after 90 minutes in a hydrogen breath test to be deemed suffering from Sibo and mine was over 50.
I have an appt with the specialist on friday and it can't come soon enough as I am sure it is part of the reason I am feeling miserable.
I have the GS for the whole weekend this weekend , excited but am sure I will be shattered as he is very active and needs a lot of stimulation.
Payday is Friday , great news - I have a water bill I need to cover so must not forget to do that
We are then away next weekend whilst NM is working and then have two holidays back to back - not great planning on our account but NM is working one of them so just the way it falls

Good luck for your appointment tomorrow, it's been a long time coming and you truly deserve some relief

so Im now on a 10 day antibiotic course followed by 12 weeks of high power pro biotics - the pro biotics need to be purchased , nearly £20 a bottle per week however managed to find a subscription deal which makes it around £13 a week , I really hope they work but are the ones the specialist suggested so will follow his advice.
I seem to have now developed a case of frozen shoulder which i believe is quite common in menopausal women - the pain is no longer so bad but i am having trouble lifting my arm higher then shoulder height and I cannot stretch, typically its the right arm. I will log a thingie on my surgery online portal just to make sure that is what it is - the specialist didnt think it was related to the sibo and had a wait and see attitude but very frustrating and currently propping my arm under a pillow.
no great luck on the bonds this month , £25 which i suppose is better then nothing but I was hoping for a bit more so i didnt have to tap in to savings for my holiday spends ……………NM had £350 , he seems to be on fire at the moment.

Sent the £25 PB win to the mortgage account as an overpayment , gave me a grand total this month of £237 in over payments - it seems to take forever to break in to the next thousand on the mortgage account.
My savings are extremely healthy so wondering if I can sacrafice an PB wins every month rather then pay 20% tax on them when they hit the savings

Well done @efes_shareholder! Perhaps MC is having a LBM. Good that he's not moving back in, no?! Love Humdinger xx

Absolutely no , under any circumstances - If he doesnt have his moment now , he never will. Its about 12 months too late really but am glad his mum is forcing him in to the situation.
Pretty sure she doesn't want her home over run with young children every other weekend no matter how much she loves them………………….I lasted longer then her though !!

so last day of the antibiotics tomorrow , feel slightly less gassy but still in as much pain - have 12 weeks on the pro biotics so hopefully that will turn that round.
money is ok , £25 PB win sent to mortgage overpayment and waiting for this months interest to be added so that I can see the impact
not much grocery expense this month as we are away a lot but thats being replaced with sun creams etc !!!!!

@efes_shareholder I have had frozen shoulder so you have my deepest sympathises. It hurts like hell and totally immobilised one arm. I ended up seeing a physio and it got sorted out in a few sessions.
Good luck with the pro biotics. They can do absolutely amazing things.

back from a lovely week away - a working week for NM , but a paid working week and a very successful one where he was made to feel very valued by the promoter ( unlike the "friend" I dont really like !)
now preparing for our actual holiday which starts on saturday
NM has been invited back to the event next year so looks like we will have a similar situation with returning and going again seeing as we have our annual week with friends.
Food spends are really down as we haven't been home much this month and looking at my energy statement that will be a nice bill to recieve this time around - little bonus's of going away! Fuel costs are also low although the new car needed a new sensor this week - in hindsight it was potentially covered on the warranty but we should have advised them before the works went ahead.
Health , I still have frozen shoulder - have a appointment at my surgery on friday for a physio assessment, its not too bad today but i have been sleeping with a rolled up towel under my arm pit and terrified that I might get shoulder barged at the event or the airport. It can be ridiculously painful.
Finished my antibiotics and for the first few days felt great with noticeable difference HOWEVER it was short lived and the gas is back with avegance. I have contacted my specialist and had my september appt bought forward to the end of July - not great but its an improvement.
Without being too graphic , slow traction is looking likely to be the problem , I am self diagnosing which is never good but there is a condition of the gallbladder that fits that does not show up on scans or blood tests and can result in developing SIBO so that kind of fits - I may have solved the SIBO short term and very short term but if I dont solve what caused it , its unlikely I will heal from it.
ordered some heat pads , ginger and artichoke supplements and ginger and camomile tea to take away with me.
savings have taken a battering for holiday spends but its all about balance - we can't be so busy earning a living and paying for it that we forget to live a little too.
£23.45 overpayment sent to the mortgage account along with the standard £180 I have been paying. I have taken a leap of faith today and increased this payment to £250 starting August , its bonus month next month anyway and then annual wage review so I'm hoping I get a rise in the region of £70 a month!!
