  • Oh my goodness CCL:eek:sorry you had to go through that. Is your Head aware of the situation? It seems so unfair for you to be on attendance tracking and having to teach a day on no sleep when you are experiencing extraordinary circumstances.

  • Cat, I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this. It’s probably inevitable it was going to happen at some stage given his track record. Well done for getting everything reported to the police. Hope you get a better nights sleep.

That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

  • That is worrying CCL. If he's in that bad a state he may need in-patient treatment - if you think he is a risk to himself and others could you notify his GP? I know adult social services are really stretched but they may be able to do something as well.

You're doing such a great job at setting boundaries for you and the kids. If he is incapable of managing with those very reasonable expectations then that is his problem (of course he's doing his best to make it yours too, I'm very impressed with how strong you are being).
  • What a fright you must have got, and the kids for that matter. By the sounds of it, you couldn't have done anything differently or better.

What is the benefit to him to drag his heels with this, btw? I struggle to understand why he'd want to for his own sake and more importantly, the kids sake!

I am so, so sorry you're going through this CCL. It sounds like you are doing so well in dealing with it though, especially where the children are concerned.
I do hope you managed to get some sleep last night. xx
