Crazy Cat Lady Chapter 3 - A New Beginning

I am so tired. No tired like end-of-term tired. And I need to rest and recuperate between now and exam time because I am going to be one seriously busy CCL with the number of exam contracts I'm juggling about this year. This will be my last chance to rest before we go away in July so I am going to make the most of it. I'm doing nothing much apart from work and sleep at the moment and I still feel really worn out.
I came home feeling quite ropey yesterday - I thought it was the menopause attacking me :rotfl: I was way too warm and felt just generally weird. A bit sickly. Came home early, via my solicitors to drop in my (hopefully) complete paperwork for court. Then once I was home I crashed out on the sofa - not sleeping but I didn't do anything else at all other than lie there, with tv in the background and a couple of cats nearby. However, I still didn't want to get up this morning even after all that sleep and rest. AND it was snowing and cold...
And I still don't feel great but I genuinely think I'm just exhausted. Roll on Friday night.
Managed to just about get caught up at work as well, but still a few things on the list there before I can relax...
Hopefully I'll feel like getting more done in a few days. Tonight I want more rest...Not giving up

:D:j:j
I'm tired. It will take a few 'good sleeps' and relaxing days before I start to feel refreshed but the end is in sight and I have felt better today than I did earlier in the week. Happier since I got the tests written that I needed to, and I've now also planned my first week back as well. Just a full teaching day to get through tomorrow, and it's non uniform so something to look forward to. Plus the Head has put on bacon sarnies for breakfast so it's almost like the holidays have started already :T
Thanks for asking about ds Speky - he's ok at the moment. He's worse than me for getting hysterical when he's tired though... I have a home/school book with his teacher where we just report to each other whether he's struggling. So far so good. The really positive thing is that everyone speaks very highly of him and he's obviously a very good kid. He's just stubborn and digs his heels in when he's in trouble. He's also very excited about a couple of weeks off.
I'm going out with my sister after work tomorrow. To the place she gets all of her tattoos and piercings done. I had a daith piercing done almost 2 years ago which has been life changing in terms of getting in control of my migraines but it hasn't ever properly healed. I just have to slightly knock it and it pours with blood... but I desperately don't want to take it out. So my sister is taking me to get the other side done. It's all a bit scary but totally worth it, and I might get mates rates as well.Hopefully I'll get through the pain and panic of it :rotfl:
Right, I have an appointment with another very early night. :rotfl: 1 hour of crocheting to wind down, couple of cats snuggling with me on the blankets as it's so cold. I was rudely awoken at 5am with a massive hailstorm, loads of thunder and very bright lightning - so I am a bit more tired than usual too...Not giving up

Morning all :coffee:
I'm on holiday :j for two whole weeks :j
I'm quite happy to think that I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING work related to do today. My tutee has asked me if we can reschedule our session so I don't even need to do that :T AND I did the grocery shopping last night so I don't have to do that. Hopefully I'll get some time to catch up with bestie at some point, but that's not massively urgent as we're both off all week next week so I'll definitely see her even if it's not today...
Work was ok yesterday, although it was very obvious that the kids were as tired as the staff were - behaviour wasn't great. However, I'd had my bacon sarnie and was in my jeans and hoodie so it was just a case of getting through the teaching and that was ok as well
Got home just after 4, ds went off to his friend's house while I went with dd to meet my sister and get the piercings done. DD got her ears pierced (how strange that she got her belly button pierced before her ears) and I got the other daith done. It wasn't too bad - I daren't touch it right now but it doesn't hurt if I leave it alone. Plus the lad has given me some tips to get the other one to heal so I'm going to try that before I take it out altogether. AND I saved about £45 compared to if I'd gone to the other place I used to go to. :j
We (me and dd) decided to go home via Mr T and do the weekly shop (my second choice but better than Mr M). I need to get back into the online shopping because I spend way less online than I do when I'm actually in the shop :rotfl: However, I'm bearing in mind that all three of us are off school so we will need extra food in the house.
It was almost 8pm by the time I got home, then I had to unpack the shopping and have something to eat so it was 9pm before I actually sat down to relax. Had a couple of glasses of fizz and an early night - ds was staying at his friend's place. Still wasn't keen on getting up this morning but I need to be ready for ds getting home. And I might not even get dressed today - depending on how the rest of the day is looking.
Plans for today are mostly to relax but also to get a couple of the smaller bits done like washing, sorting rubbish and finding a bag of something to declutter... I'll feel better if I'm not neglecting everything. It's also time to get the longer list on the go again and start crossing the little bits off as I should have more time. Not giving up
