I love it...thank you, that made me chuckle

Had to borrow money from my EF account as I get paid weekly and for some reason I am short the rent..i know I'll have extra next week and can pay it back. Just a pain

In foul form, found out two silly women in work were full on yapping about me...all because they are unable to make a decision and do their job. Rant for another time

    How's you?

Sorry to hear this. I am going to try and peddle some of my random wares on eBay this weekend to try and reduce the 'hmmmmm'!

Ah, you are up against it this week, Lexie Lou, with the letters, ezcema, the annoying colleagues. Loved the insight about the baby oil vs shaving foam though! Great news about eBay and Etsy. Keep plugging away, LL. I have every confidence in you.

It's good to set yourself a high target. If you aim for £300, you might achieve £200. If you aim for £200, you might only achieve £100....

I just read this and excitedly scrolled upwards to see why you were discussing baby oil and shaving foam. I was very disappointed when I saw that it was about leg shaving - I thought you were talking about something much more fun! :rotfl:

Haven't written in days...don't know why either, but felt tonight I needed to write, to a) keep me motivated, and b) check in with everyone.

I'm away with work at the weekend for 5 days - work trip, so any money I save travelling to and from work will be used to pay for the dog in Kennels...plus she needs to go to the Vet before hand to update her vaccines, so have to dip into the EF to pay for the Vet.

Starting to get quite a few demanding letters from my creditors, need to call SC about them, as I am worried I might be actually missing something - I know I am getting stressed as my skin is breaking out in a rash again (eczema)

Oh hilarious...so read somewhere on MSE to use baby oil instead of shaving foam/gel when shaving your legs. Don't....ever....I have actual razor burns on my legs because of it...

I've 2 items listed on ETSY, and 3 relists on EBAY, plus one more to list tomorrow.

I have a target of £300 extra for this month (Sept challenge) and I need to get my actual rear end into gear to hit it. I don't think I will, but I need the willpower to at least make an attempt, which was also a reason for me to come on here. I needed motivation from you all

OK, thats all from me...sorry for the ramble

    Night

    LL xx

Oh no, I've read that about baby oil! I'm just too lazy to put another thing in the shower :rotfl:

Sorry about the letters you're receiving - maybe they haven't heard from StepChange yet?

    Good luck with your challenge!
  • Hello all

Got a stroppy letter from Tesco telling me to contact them as I have ignored all calls (this is true) and they have rejected by I&E and payment offering. They have threatened debt collection agency etc. E-mailed SC as I'm away and cannot call them, waiting for a reply.

I'm beginning to wonder if self managed would be better - I know I keep saying this - anyway

£1.50 on shopimum...big bar of chocolate, which is currently keeping me company

nothing budging on ebay or Etsy, but should be home on Sat and can make another run at things

Hope you are all well. Thanks for stopping by and supporting me
