Welcome to the weekend
I've moved money into various accounts today, I've a few very small cheques to lodge tomorrow - like £1.00 in total small cheques
I got a default notice from HSBC today, need to look into that. I can't afford to pay it (unless I win the euro millions tonight), so may as well roll with this roller coaster that I've decided to join.
I'm going to start prepping some stuff for ETSY this weekend.
Off to have some dinner

Hi, I think I need to change my sig because I forgot to factor in my car loan  but I'm still quite proud of how far I've come (especially since I've been on a student loan for the past year!).
I've just started a new diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/74706540#Comment_74706540 if you want a little read? I've still got a long way to go and a lot to learn but reading these forums has helped me loads.
Don't worry about your default notice, that's the way all your debts will go over the coming months. They soud scary but they don't mean you need to pay your debt now - you have a plan to pay it and as long as you stick to that or get in touch with them when it changes, they won't come knocking on your doorLBM: October 2016: £20,130 / Current: May 2019: £12,576 37.53%DFD: [STRIKE]February 2024[/STRIKE] April 2022?0 -
Hi,
Just listed 7 items on ebay, I have so many more to list that I want to cry at the mammoth task ahead. Double edged sword as I have an abundance of items, but the thought of starting them just tires me.
My EF has increased to £275....totally delighted. Bit of a win, which increased it by £130
I have been collecting Tesco Vouchers - you know the cash back ones - keeping them for Christmas.
Should update my signature to match the Tesco Vouchers
Sat up last night, well until 6am reading a book. Darn Milly Johnson...she writes such good books.
I've a mountain of Ironing to do and a house to clean. I'm working tomorrow, so no Bank Holiday for me...
Spent money today, which annoyed me. Also made a big pot of casserole, portions out 5 dinners from it. Used up some defrosted sausages, I've 4 more left, so I'll put that into a casserole.
That's all for today£38,000 and change to £00 -
Dog walked, 1.5 lb on...cross with myself...seems my weight loss attempt is as poor as my debt busting...ha ha
Nothing else to report

I actually want to whollop someone, namely that stupid bank I bank with. I don't owe them any money, which is why I still bank with them.
I applied in April for another savings account, found out today they have managed to lose my application form which includes all my personal details on the application form, namely it has been lost in the internal mail system! Eh Hello?? My passport copy, name address, DOB etc...the list goes on and on and they couldn't give a fiddlers.
So just made a complaint and mentioned the Financial Ombudsman and the Information Commissioners Office, and also dropped in GDPR, as they've lost my personal details. I will take this as far as I can, crowd of jokers...
I'm patiently waiting on one of my new current account banks (basic account- no o/Draft) to email me my log in, so I can open a few savings accounts with them.
I sat up to 1am, this morning reading diaries and how people are dividing up their money each month. This stuff is addictive.
I also got another bid on some stuff on ebay - that won't set the world on fire, but it is money that I will be putting into my account for SC. I set up an account for SC, which will kinda double as another emergency account. I've purposely not set up online banking as then I cannot be tempted to dip into it. As I get paid weekly, and my DMP doesn't start until 10th Oct, I am putting away each week the amount needed for the monthly installment of each DMP. Make sense? It does in my head (but I am still hopping mad about the bank - so anything makes sense right now)
I was driving to work this am thinking about things I am good at and how much spare time I have. I can sew, like really well. I also have been following this girl on Instagram and she has been selling super well for the last year and has over 400 reviews / sales. So that option could be a potential good earner to be a new car fund...my own is held together with dirt and good luck
That's all for me, for now.
Sorry about the rant, but needed to vent.

Oh, such progress today, got my online banking set up for my new accounts, got a new savings account opened. Feel a whole lot better...daft how the simple things make you feel so good in this process.
It might be nearly 10 years before this mess is sorted, but if I haven't learned a lesson after all of this, I need my rear kicked.
Thanks me
