Great news about the interviews! Are both jobs closer to home? How much would you save on petrol?

  • No idea how much I will save on fuel, its kinda salary dependant, if that makes sense. Like I could earn 6k less and be no better off, or earn the same and be 350 better off. It just the commuting time I will save, which is what is making me the most happy

I've had to dip into my entire emergency fund - but I suppose thats what its for.

I had to put the dog into kennels, while I was away with work. I'll back able to repay her cost from my mileage. So thats not sooo bad

Then I need the rest for the service on my car....again I can pay that back from my budget over the next 12 months

I've paid for a top up of oil, took that from my SC account, simply as I had it in various other accounts and couldn't be bothered with the faff of going to the post office and taking out and paying back money. So I'll move all that tonight and put that money back into SC account

I've a pile of things beside me to ebay, which I am going to get a shimmy on and do.

I've a few things I'm going to put on my local FB buy and sell and Gumtree...

no surveys from Profilic...obvs don't have enough going on in my life

Was reading someone else's post about micro jobs, gonna look into that later, not sure if I have any services they want, but a nosey does no harm

I am well short of my target for the month - £300....but I have been away for a week and am due away to go away again, so its not helping my failure to target

I'm thinking of giving up slimming world...I don't follow the plan, and part of me only goes for the company, but is £5 a week and I could spend that on something else, and I am also away in a few weeks time, so thats more money spent on it and I won't be attending class....you get the gist

I made a pasta dish and planned to freeze some of it, then I managed to leave it in the oven too long and burnt it...like really??? At times I feel like the world is actually putting all these obstacles in the way, just to wind me up and make everything so much harder. I know its only food, but its just typical of everything that is happening at the min

Thats all my moaning for the day

    Night all

So I got a new job...with paid overtime. I don't think I have ever had a job with paid overtime....its 40 mins from home and only a few grand less than I am currently on...so with O/T I will be OK

I've been stupidly busy, I apologise for not being around

All should be back to normal from tomorrow onwards

All EF are depleted, SC payment has started, I'm refusing to think about it and how much I have to do to get back on top, otherwise I will just have my brain explode

    Thanks for staying with me

    Lots of Love

    Hey,

I'm back. I disappeared as my mum died and life just got mental.

I checked my DMP balance today for the first time since I started it 5 months ago and I'm kinda pleased how much I've paid off

I do get paid OT in my new job, but I'm squirrelling this away for a rainy day as my car is on its absolute last legs

I've also realised that I am living beyond my budget, but this is due to my new job and also my OT and also the fact I've not got as much as expense as before, and therefore more disposable income. So tonight I checked the budget again and have put money away, and am not necessarily going to over pay the DMP, but rather save a bit more and remember what my budget is

Its a glorious evening here so I'm away to walk the dog and enjoy the semi spring weather..
