Yes - that the LFTs didn't pick it up is concerning. I tried to order more free LFTs but there don't appear to be any available.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have managed to buy some more LFTs from B00ts £9.50 for 5, I have enough advantage points for the test but not delivery too so paid with survey money.
Feeling much better, just this stinking cough which will not shift. Hoping to be up and about this week. Will do a test to see what LFT says, although are they that reliable?Need to send DD for supplies today as we have run out of eggs, water and bread. Top up electric too.All bills paid, so need to shuffle money to savings sometime this week.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

Happy Hump Day,
Feeling better every day, will try a test today as it’s been a week since my symptoms started. Just really want to go for a walk, going stir crazy. Even though I’m working it’s no fun being stuck in the bedroom with DH 24/7! Managed 50 metres walking up and down the hallway yesterday and will try some low impact resistance training today.Had a bit of shocking news at work yesterday which has thrown some extra light on the company and how it operates, maybe I could see it a bit with other departments but never thought it applied to mine. It’s making me rethink my whole future there, I’m planning for the worst at this stage and hope for the best. I’m on a fixed term contract and now I have the strength and gumption to walk if I don’t like it. I have been saving hard into my EF so will continue that for next couple of months and have 3 months bare bones of expenses saved and a couple of hundred £ across my sinking funds. I may put this saving (sinking funds) on hold and in the words of Dave Ramsey go into storm mode. I started the week happy and secure that I had a job, confident I would get past my probation and happy in my team, and now look 😦.
B00ts LFTs should turn up today, I’m off the do a test now, here’s hoping 🤞🏽 it’s negative!🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

Where do I start? New month and went for first run post Covid, managed 6k at an easy pace with a 5 min walk half way round. Felt good to get out of the house into the sunshine.
Work has been interesting, I have accepted a promotion to a new position and a significant pay rise! Came out of the blue, but so happy that my work has been recognised this early on in the job. Had really good feedback for a couple of projects and it has given me a boost. One of the comments came from an external stakeholder, so really chuffed as it’s a complicated case I’m dealing with. DD is always telling me I have a lot to offer and I shouldn’t shy away from what I’m good at or telling people. It is all about confidence, something that had been slowly whittled away in my last job over the years.
This pay rise will supercharge reaching our savings goals, I can even think about saving more into my pension now.Back in the office next week and looking forward to seeing my colleagues, there are also a few new people I’ve yet to meet as I have been at WFH.
May brave trip to Mr A and Mr L tomorrow to stock up on a few items we need.
Spring has finally sprung (despite the snow ❄️) and life is looking bright. I am thankful for all I have, especially DH & DD, we have a roof over our heads and enough money to pay for our needs.
I may also gave another wedding to look forward to this year, 2022 will truly be a year of celebration.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

Happy Sunday
Managed a second run post Covid, although the run was not bad I do find I don’t have as much energy left afterwards and need a rest.
DH has taken in some extra work this weekend which has left him very tired and we’ve barely seen each other so I have started the Easter spring clean. Kitchen is almost done just inside cupboards and oven left to do.
Living room will not be too bad as I did it a couple of weeks ago, really just the bedrooms that need sorting. It always feels good when everything is sparkling and in its place.
