Anyone found a way of downloading certificates of interest on the new website? My annual interest summaries covering the tax year weren't issued until late May last year (27th/28th) and if I was a betting man I'd expect that their timescales will be longer this year than last time round, given everything else that's been going on....
I don't wait, but those who don't offer the ability to download get a telephoned or personal asap request for paper certificates.
It is disappointing that TSB's "new" website is still customer-unfriendly - unless anyone else can address my OP !
First prize this year to Nationwide, by the way, who have fulfilled my repeated request to promptly make available a single-page download consolidating details of all interest bearing accounts.
Booby prize to NS&I, who have already had to send out letters "correcting" their quickly-released but entirely wrong interest paid data.0 -

No, my nomination for booby prize would be Virgin Money. I asked if they did a consolidated statement (like Nationwide's) because of an issue with a correction in interest paid on one of my RS accounts. They said they didn't but could send one for each (store) account. Ones for the online accounts were available online and I'd have to download/print them myself. Fair enough.
A week or so later there was a 'thud' at the front door. They had sent a certificate for each RS account - including the online ones - and each one was in a separate envelope. That's a lot of envelopes"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Huh - nothing. 870 grammes of post from NS&I one day - all incorrect data or stuff never asked for. After a complaint, all the incorrect data again. After another complaint 9 - yes NINE - letters, just today, explaining how their previous junk data had to be read in conjunction with this new letter when it came to filling in your tax return because they'd already sent the original data on to HMRC.
You aren't even on the foothills of this mountain of idiocy !0 -

Lovely..months of compensation.
Damn...months of repetitive compensation posts.
Not to mention how despicable it is that you think it would be "lovely" for a situation where countless people would have months more of troubles with their finances, just beause you might get some cash out of it.0 -
TSB only have eight weeks to respond to our complaints and provide suitable remedies otherwise it's off to the Ombudsman. The six months scenario while not improbable is too vague at present.0

Not correct. They can send you an 8-week holding letter. They will have to do this cos they have so many complaints.
You can only go to the FOS after you have got a final response letter from TSB.
I still reckon they will give a default redress to all complainants and then look at more complex cases.0 -
