Just had the TSB email:
"For Classic Plus customers ... to show how grateful we are for your loyalty and patience, we are also increasing the interest rate on our Classic Plus account from 3% to 5%. We promise this won't be taken away after a year."
So, will they keep whatever that promise means?Deleted_User wrote: »Meaning:- They are not promising that it won't be taken away before the year mark?
Exactly. :rotfl:
Brief, unambiguous use of language. RIP circa 1965 !0 -
Seems to me it's written to present it as being better than the other current account with interest of 5%, Nationwide, who take that 5% away after a year.0

Still cannot access online bank account for me or my mother, 11 days later.....0
-
Still no problems here; straight in just now from PC, accounts visible, mini statements work, interest has been added, transfers in and out all done OK.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

I thought everything was sorted, today my debit card is being declined. I can't take anymore, time to move banks.0

well its all going off in here isn't it !!
I use my TSB account very infrequently now its only faster payments that seem to be an ongoing problem for my account. I'm still awaiting a reply to my complaint regarding the outages they are probably hoping most people forget about any complaints they have made.0 -
I can access my account but cannot make faster payments- relative reports the same problem.0

Im still unable to see my credit card online/via the app, and not yet got through on the phone, I don't know if my payment has gone out of my debit card as I don't use the account card.
Hopefully the payment has gone through okay, and if not its not sent to the credit files as a late payment, as the money in in the account, (I made payment to cover it on the Thursday)
Fingers crossed it will be okay (eventually) they must have a big back log of issues to fix.
** I am able to log into the app but when I got to make any transactions or check my balance in my debit card I am thrown out with a error message...
I dispare, and I'm glad my interest free period is due up, and ill be paying off the credit card and its one less thing to worry about. I cant have issues on my credit file in the role I'm in, so I hope things get sorted.
