Honey Bear - sending you and Mr HB huge, massive hugs. So sad to hear Devil Cat has gone, but what a fighter he was! He had a fabulous life with you guys - Thank you for loving and caring for him xxx

I am in, thanks for the lists Natty and Valli xx

HB, I have been thinking of you. That really is the best description of grief I have ever heard, thank you for sharing it xx

The past 48 hours have been hectic. However, I can actually see a big difference to the state of the house and my head therefore feels more in order. Loads of stuff (3 bootloads) has been shifted out of the garage and re-homed where appropriate (most of it the tip!)

I took the bin bags of clothes to Cash4Clothes, finalised and posted DH company accounts to the accountant for checking (await a report saying "must do better", I always feel like we are getting our homework marked!).

Boot has been re-loaded with huge bag of outgrown clothes and shoes to take for friend's kids tomorrow, together with the surplus-to-requirements steamer.

I am already in my PJs :o but we have all eaten our tea so it really is time to settle down for the evening!

Ooh in Slinky news - another 2lbs off, that's 30 lbs now :T and yes I am most definitely continuing the Scrimping for April. Did pretty well in March, but I want to be able to make some big inroads in our mortgage which requires even sterner discipline so this is Super-Frugal-April for us.

    Have fab evenings all xx

Not the best of Flying days today but had a lovely lesson on Breggey and have put a load of washing in the machine. Been working this afternoon then had phone call from Social Services re DD not coming home 4 weeks ago. Was pleased to tell her things are a lot better now than they were. She's going to speak to Z then the case will be closed down - the Police had been in touch with them so they needed to check on how things are going.

Best take me off of Scrimpers please - I'm so rubbish I bought gravy and chips for lunch!!

ETA: Does cleaning a horses tack come close to Flying? If so then whoopee!!

    Of course it does! x

Humph! Just.... Humph! After yesterday's promise of not forcing me to sit through piffle any more, he put on "The Scorpion King" just as we sat down for dins. Recorded off one of the itv channels a week or so ago. I've seen it before and it was awful then. !!!!!!, it's simply a vehicle for a has-been wrestler to pretend he's an actor!! :wall:
So.... I fed us, fed the dogs, let the dogs in the garden for a pee, battled to get Indi back indoors (he's only a pup, so I'm cutting him a lot of slack), did the washing up, and have now come on here while he finishes watching it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Excellent - thank you Wolfie; glad to know I've done a bit more Flying than on the list lol!!

What is it with OHs and carp TV programmes - I get the same with mine and it does my head in.

I filled up the feeders, topped up the layers pellets in the hooks pen and have hung up some washing to dry. Now back working again for a while then want to catch up on Marcella; loved the first series so have big hopes for the second.

    Not too bad.

I also did some paid stuff and went to my first running club meet. Ouch. It was the Walk/Run intro. It hurt. Only 2 miles. I am soooo unfit.

JoJo My DH has just read your posts over my shoulder and anxiously asked that I tell him if I ever start feeling that way about him. He then offered to do the washing up and put the washing away:rotfl: Thank you:T

I did tell him that I’d have kicked him out about six months ago if he did half the stuff your OH did and didn’t do:D

Hmm, still want to be on the scrimpers list but think I need a goal to work to. Will think about that. Oh and DS2s phone has died. I think he has dropped it again but to be fair he bought it second hand 2.5 years ago.

Busy day. Paid stuff this morning then home to hoover and scrub kitchen, ds loo and utility floors. Pulled out the sofa in the dining area, wiped appliances, cupboard doors and kickboards. Another hours paid stuff, did roast dinner and went to my gym class. Have just hoovered through quickly and off to make lunches for tomorrow in a minute. Phew. Oh and have put a load of washing in so think that will have to go over the airer before bed.

Feeling tired but OK, the anxiety seems to be staying away at the minute, thank goodness.
