    SOUL
I found a walking holiday in Croatia in December. I am partly inspired by Rosa and her camper van, off on adventures, so it got me imagining adventures of my own. On pay day I will pay the deposit. I will set myself a challenge to pay half the remaining sum by selling things. It will give me something positive to work towards.

Thanks, I feel better because all pressure is off for a bit. But, I can't help feeling I need to use this time wisely, hence the keeping busy. Have a lovely Sunday

Hello DIA. I'm finally up to your debt free status in your previous diary. It'll take me a little while to catch up here but congratulations. You did incredibly well to get that amount of debt gone in such a short time. Doing it all yourself makes it even more inspiring.

I'm back on regularly again as I'd forgotten how much I need to be here. Work took over my time for so long but it's all about priorities for me now.

It's been lovely catching up on everything and I'm excited to read this diary.

    Take care.

Am glad you got the certificate and got some time off. Sorry the doctor was not so great... I found when I went recently it was just so busy and there was a real sense of 'hurry up' when I was speaking to him which felt a bit crummy. But like yourself I got what I needed out of it (in my case, medication) so the end result was OK I guess.

I hope your 4 day week gets sorted :o I love that I only work 4 days but am feeling a little guilty about it at the moment. OH and I both have debt to be busting and money to be saving so we can afford our own place and I feel I'm being selfish not being full time. I know when he gets a full time job I will feel even worse so will likely be going FT again in the near future.

Croatia sounds wonderful! A walking holiday sounds right up my alley ;) Am sure it will be wonderful and something really fun/ exciting to look forward to. I like the idea of paying for half of it with money from selling stuff, very good idea! Well done on the car boot by the way! See ya later sewing machine! I have a basket full of wool that taunts me in the same way your sewing machine did. "You thought you'd make great stuff, but all you make is patches then give up!" :rotfl: Oh well!
    Total Debt : ?? / ??

Thanks Lonelyrat. I'll be booking the holiday next week and doing another carboot sale in the Autumn plus I'm going to start gumtr33. Don't let your wool beat you up! Take control :D

First off sorry to hear you are unwell. Hopefully some time away from work and dropping to 4 days plus getting rid of some other work will all help in the long run.

Croatia is a beautiful place and walking holiday sounds great. Treat yourself and get it booked. Maybe have a treat whilst you are off , a massage or a facial at your local college. You will feel great after. .

    Clothes washing
    Cleaning dining room surfaces
    Hoover dining room floor
Toilet room cleaned and restored to company ready :)
    Washing up X1, X1, X1

    Stripped chicken carcass for fridge
    Made humous for fridge
Made lentil, chicken and courgette soup

    SOUL
    Listening to inspirational podcasts
Burning oil (orange oil, grapefruit and a few drops of sage)
    Read for an hour

    LIGHTBULB MOMENT
I have garden tools in the house. I don’t have a shed but if I get a garden box I can rid the house of garden tools. Having garden tools in the house is so not normal. Why have I just realised that?

    MSE
Checked B0den sale. I am stalking a dress that even with £50 off is too expensive
Cancelled a few DDs and SOs (discretionary spends) and from August I will have £81 more in my account as a result
A good YS haul with lots of good quality protein from MnS and without the snatchy people too. Everything was 75% reduction such as a free range and corn fed chicken reduced from £8 to £2 :)

    Happy Sunday everyone :)

WOW way to go DIA! £81 extra is a massive amount of money to pull back.

Had to laugh about your garden tools in the house.... I'm continually complaining that I can't fine anything I need ie drills, screwdrivers etc. They SHOULD be in the shed (not that I'd be able to lay my hands on them with all the rubbish in there ) but him indoors has them stashed away in his wardrobe, chests of drawers, under the stairs..... you get the drift? :rotfl:
Mind you I'm as bad. I'm trying to list on evilbay while the special offer is on, but I can't find ANY of the accessories for the things I'm trying to list, and I'm shattered pulling stuff around in the 2 bedrooms of doom - minus beds- that I laughingly call my work rooms. Steptoes Yard was more organised ( and probably cleaner! ) :o:o I keep doing 10 minutes in there and then coming back here for a coffee (wheres the coffee smiley?) and a catch up.
Then I read all the things you're doing and feel totally guilty that I'm so bl00dy useless :(

Anyway I'm pleased you're sounding more positive... remember not to go back to work too soon, take the time you need to get yourself totally together. XX
