20/20 Vision (repaying a debt to my home and myself)

I made a profit of £50 at the car boot sale, not much really but I got rid of a bulky item (my sewing machine) so now said item can stop gathering dust and reminding me that I was rubbish at sewing. ‘You thought you were going to make cushions and do home alterations but you can’t’ it kept saying. Goodbye bulky item! I also sold a too big dress and another few items.
I added £50 to my CU emergency fund. Now I have a balance of £350.

I WFH this afternoon
I still managed to use the morning and lunchtime too. I got my car cleaned on the outside whilst I was in the supermarket. It cost £10 and now I can do the inside myself. I think it was worth it so I will do it once a month. I can barely clean the house so I am not adding a car to my list (although if I had debts to pay I would force myself to do it).
I was mindful in the supermarket. I put back 3 items I thought I could do without
I got railroaded by some violet and rose creams at the counter reduced to £1 for 12. I have already eaten them all.The funny thing is I enjoyed the cherries more than the chocolate, so I am stopping chocolate for a bit to enjoy the summer fruits instead
I made meatballs today using lamb and chickpeas and loads of spices. All cooked and in the fridge now. Batter for flatbreads being left overnight to ferment a bit and I will make them tomorrow as I am WFH again tomorrow
No progress on the house today.
I put in a claim for my second job. This money will go straight to the emergency fund. I am aiming to reach my target of £1,000 by the end of August.
Pleased with the day considering I woke up with a migraine brewing

Well done with the car boot sale , it's a bit more stuff out of the way is how to look at it. Hope the migraine brewing didn't hang around.

I got waylaid by the plasterers letting me down so a little delayed. I have an appointment at the Swedish store next week. Then 2 weeks or so to wait for the installers appointment to get their report then should be able to go from there. I want it in by the Autumn. Yesterday I ate a frog and stopped one of the second income streams. I will also be stopping another income stream next week.
I am trying to do less as I have an overwhelming desire to stop everything and just be. I can’t stop my main job so I am tackling things around the edge of it. I am becoming less able to keep all the balls in the air and feel as if I am slowly burning out. I feel tearful, headachy and tired. I was about to start WFH and realised I couldn’t face it so I emailed the team to say I was unwell. I have made an appointment to see my GP instead.
Washing is on in the background. I love this weather where clothes can be washed and dried in a day
This morning I texted someone I know for details of her electrician.
Yesterday I arranged a bulky waste collection to get rid of some junk currently piled up in the garden
Pay day in just over a week and I am getting excited about working to the new system. My budget was planned and balanced this morning and everything in one account is automated and accounted for. My discretionary spending is all in the new account.
Today I will be kind to myself

Sounds like you made the right decision taking the day, and getting yourself booked in to see the GP. At times when you feel like life is getting on top of you, sometimes help is needed and I'm glad you're progressing that. Even if it's just a chat to get things off your chest.
You're only one woman - you can't do it all. I think cutting back sounds like the best thing for you right now to give you time to look after yourself.
I didn't get your PM yesterday, so i sent you a PM in the hope that you'd receive it and be able to reply easily? Not sure if you got it.
Good luck with the new budget!Sealed Pot Challenge 075
