    Thanks for checking in Beanie.

Yesterday was a good day. It's just the boss incident. I ignored the issue today and we were especially polite with each other the way you are when you have fallen out. It was okay. It will improve :)

I taught a good class this evening ;)

I was invited to Glyndebourne for the day. Madam Butterfly no less. The tickets are hundreds of pounds so I have never been, but a posh friend of a friend gave my friend 2 tickets and she invited me. I can pretend to be posh for the day. Going to make up a hamper to picnic on and buy some fizz too as a thank you to my friend. I am really excited :)

Bad eating day. I have a lunch packed for tomorrow and will prep a smoothie tonight so I don't repeat rubbish eating tomorrow :o

I need to get back to frog eating. I am starting to slack off. So tomorrow I will arrange a window quote by the end of the day

Hope you had a good day reader :)

Thanks INOD. June is a big month for me. I will become a car owner again after a break of many years. I go to Glyndebourne and I holiday in Cornwall too. Lots to look forward to :)

All afternoon I had the feeling i was living my life the wrong way, that time was running out and I was wasting my life and time in a job that many people could do whilst I was not doing the things that only I could do. It was either a moment of clarity or a moment of madness I'm not sure which. The truth is I need to do something very different but what with the house and the new car I don't think I can cope with shaking my life up anymore right now...

Bought lots of YS salads, fruits and sandwiches. They were 90% off. The plan is to make a veggie/lentil soup and that's it for food for a few days. It will be nice not to do any cooking .

Last bank holiday I really wanted to go for a long walk somewhere beautiful. I love to walk and for years I've said I will join a walking club. Well, today I sent off the application form. :j Watch this space :)

I am feeling very unsettled right now but I will keep on keeping on without panicking and see what pans out :)

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine :)

The walking club sounds like an excellent plan. Great way to discover some new places and people too.
  • Wow what a treat to see Madame Butterfly and what a lovely friend to have :)

  • The walking club sounds great too, if only I could persuade DH then I'd be tempted to join one.

It's very important to do the things you want to while you still can. I'm aware that at 54 I need to get on and do some of the things on my bucket list.

Just popping in to say hello and well done. Our house feels similar, fundamentally sound but a bit low on TLC, although high on plans.

First real maintenance in years was to have the gutters cleaned from a doorstop caller (I NEVER deal with them, but I had just been saying the day before it really needed to be done, so he struck lucky) - he did a good job but said he had never seen anything quite as bunged up - 2 weeks later we have storm from hell and it all worked - go figure)

You're doing fine - and I wanted to write a message so I could keep up with your diary, and maybe kick start some action. I may have a bonus coming in which will be, well a bonus, and I hope I can stretch it to cover as much as you have. If it doesn't arrive well then I will have to work my budgets harder - becasue OH and I need to put some shine in our lives
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
