Private plate number spacing

And that's kinda the whole point of this thread.master_blaster_44 said:With the exception of the spacing...0 -
But this would be like attempting to personalise my house number or postcode. They're simply an identifier. If I lived at 808 King Street, I wouldn't give my address as Bob King Street. That's just stupid.master_blaster_44 said:Personalising your property is human nature,
Personalise your car by its colour, wheels, decals, tyres, leather colour etc. etc. But why, oh why, the number plate?!1 -

Property doesn't isnt just bricks and mortar you know. The worse argument I ever heard. Are you feeling ok? You can add a house name if you want, therefore it personalised.Supersonos said:

Don't worry, most of the questions on here are answered by post #5, the other 97 pages are people arguing and posting off topic anecdotes.master_blaster_44 said:Apologies for taking it off topic
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Thanks. I was looking through some of the other posts and some people we seemingly horrified that anyone would want a personalised registration (which is what DVLA call them, if you think that term is wrong take it up with them) and I pointed out 'personally' they dont bother me, if someone wants one thats fine, so long as it meets the legal requirements. Then some person jumps on saying something about he wants to name his house Bob? Bizarre. Obviously hadnt read my post as we were both saying any plate needs to meet the legal requirement. Just lazy and rude.facade said:

I'm new here, some very odd posts indeed, and like any forum some really helpful posts. A guy was on about his road tax and wanted some help, someone replied 'road tax has existed since 1937', nothing else,no advice, just that, how is that any help to anyone? Everyone know what road tax is, even if it isnt the correct name.
That being said there is some good advice on here, please keep it up0
