Why don't you indicate?

The bus behind them - to show that they are about to clear the stop. If the left indicator stays on - that tells the following driver that they are still loading/unloading so following driver can then decide whether to stop short or wait. The only indicating that annoys me is London buses. They drive along a bus lane, but still indicate left and right as they stop at bus stops. Too often I see a bus in a bus lane indicating right, so I slow to let it into my lane, only to watch as it drives in a straight line along the bus lane.
They should indicate to show their intention to turn/change lanes. Not simply start moving. Who are they indicating to?!
Other possibilities - out of habit or because they are trained to do so. Remember, in other bits of London, the stop is effectively a layby, so they would have to indicate and pull out into the lane. So it might well be that they are taught (by some operators?) to indicate every time whether there is a bus lane or not.I need to think of something new here...0 -

There is a certain breed of driver who think it's Signal, Manoeuvre, Look in Mirror to see why people are shouting at you. Probably a big overlap with those who drive up a slip road and think that because they have an indicator on that magically makes a gap rather than matching speeds to look for one.I need to think of something new here...0 -

I even indicate pulling into my own drive on a quiet cul de sac with no one around! Guess it's just a good habit from learning to drive, but I've only been driving for ten years. I think sometimes people don't indicate when they aren't sure whether they are supposed to or not, eg there seems to be a lot of confusion in some people about indicating coming off roundabouts.
But yeah some people are just inconsiderate or not concentrating properly!0 -
I do indicate because I don't drive or own something German.
What's also with this trend of indicator asemblies and lenses being so small in size that they can hardly be seen in daylight?0 -
