Why don't you indicate?

On my journey to work this morning I discovered to my dismay that I'm now the last indicator left on the road.
My hope had always been that years of politely indicating would 'spread the love' and encourage others to join me. Not so.
I feel it's now time to put the question to the world that's been growing in my mind over the last 20 years:
.........why don't you indicate?

Is it new?0 -
When I passed my test, you wound the window and gave hand signals. I still do . . .0

Far too busy complaining about other people not indicating. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I still indicate; makes sense to as I can't always tell 100% whether there isn't someone who will benefit from knowing my intention. Same should go for everyone.0

Last Friday commuting home on the bike had a guy nearly drive into me while I was filtering as he was intending on turning left and didn't bother indicating, probably saved his paintwork being alert to what he was doing and stopping. He'd have lost the insurance claim (was all on headcam)
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

The only thing you can be sure of when you see hand signals is that the window is open.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
Indicating makes it easier for MI5 to follow you. I always like to confuse them as much as possible.
That's why I search for Ladyboys and Mangirls. To keep them guessing.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Institute of Advanced Motorists advise against unnecessary indicating which of course results in some members failing to indicate when they should do. As a pedestrian waiting at a T junction for a non indicating motorist to decide in which direction he wishes to go before you can cross the road is very frustrating.0

I do.
However the vast majority of people these days are self absorbed
and believe the world revolves around them.0
