UserCP then the bottom option on the lh side of menus (I hope, because I'm green!) is Forum Version Manager, Manage Version.
Wonder if that will increase the green tally ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Glad we'll still have the green version. Blue might work better for mobile devices but a lot of us prefer desktops and green is much better on them.Superscrooge wrote: »I wasn't aware there were two versions? I'm on the blue version which seems OK to me? But I have never experienced the green version. So can't compare.
Can anyone access the green version? or is it just an old version that isn't generally available?
In your user cp, select Edit Options, then scroll down to Miscellaneous options, and select Forum Skin. Then choose New Masthead fixed width(recommended).I don!!!8217;t understand.
Why does it say we have to switch off old forums skins but then says you will still be on an old one?
If you want to be/remain on the latest green one, you can.
MSE Andrea said this:-To reduce the time and resource it takes to make the switch we need to switch off some of those old forum skins and migrate the forum members who are on them to a newer skin (the one prior to the new blue skin). This will affect around 1,000 of you. You will still be on an old, green version of the Forum and will, of course, still be able to choose to switch to the newest, blue version if you decide to.
The 1000 is referring to people still on the older green versions, but they will be put onto the latest green version. If you are already on the latest green version, you still will be after the alterations.(I just lurve spiders!)

Stretchy green will be fine. As long as its not limited to narrow green or narrow blue. If there was a stretchy blue, I could live with that.
I just dont want narrow blue (the default)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Readable please (a la GREEN!). I have nothing against blue, but the format, with large spacing and wishy washy colours is unreadable. I agree with others, it actually causes eyestrain. I thought it was to make it more readable on a mobile, but it's just as bad on that.0

the option to skip forward 10, 20, etc or even 'to page ***' would be great as if you're away from the forum for more than a day it takes ages to try to find where you are :money:
You can do this.
You've always been able to do this - well I have anyway - as long as I can remember
At the top of a thread ....
(for example)
.... on the left there is
and on the right something like ...

I've only ever tried different versions using quick links. The one that I like is New Masthead, stretchy. I would hate to have to get used to a different one.
Under userCP, it just says old version and new version. I'm not sure what the latest green version is as whenever there has been any changes I have gone back to the version that I like the best
