I know LoL
Although Euro no maps i have no need for, the camera i would not use and from reading the reviews you can add the speed camera data to it no problem.
POI's what are these (Complete Sat Nav newbie)
Thanks0 -

The Euro maps (they arrive on CDs) could easily be sold to reduce the net price even moreI didn't think I'd use the camera but I have. Yes, it's a gimmick and I wouldn't pay extra for it, but in actual fact in this case I'm paying LESS for it, so all is good.
POIs are Points of Interest, there are literally thousands in the N40is database, you simply click on a button wherever you are and up they pop, seperated into categories like Theatre, shopping etc etc. The 2 most important POIs (petrol and parking!) even have their own dedicated button on the unit. Again, wherever you are, if you require petrol, simply press the petrol button and up pop all the petrol stations in the area, listed closest to your location first. Simply click on the one you want to go to on the screen and press go and it will guide you there (this also happens with ALL the POIs). It really is an amazing satnav.

I see thanks for the help!
I take it the 3100 does not have POI's as standard? Although i have seen that you can download the igo POI's and these work fine.
People have even managed to install the tom tom software on here and can switch between them!!
I don't mind all that fussing, will quit enjoy it I think0 -
btw, halfords have the 3100 in for 79.99 - 10 cheaper than the ebuyer link
some say in the older reviews that the ebuyer one comes with ac charger and memory card.....the current ebuyer deal specifically says no charger however.....as to memory card I do not know however you would really want to get a 1 or 2gb stick to go in this anyway if you plan to play mp3s, and use alternative software etc.
I'm still deciding between this and holding out in hopes of that n30i - but I've reserved one online for my local halfords for tday in case I give in0 -

Seriously, this is an EXTREME bargain - and from a retailer with arguably the best CS in the industry.
