I’m feeling pretty positive about there (hopefully) being an end in sight for my debt ... 16 months away hopefully, fingers crossed. It’ll give me more options in all areas of my life hopefully. Can I write hopefully one more time?!

I feel a lot less positive about work. I’m going to start taking some anxiety medication tonight and I hope that will make a positive difference. I can access more counselling through my GP too.

Oh pidge, sorry to hear about the 'lodger' it does sound like he's playing tough. You're doing really well and remember you are in control. You've got this! Don't let the overpayment mean you spiral, just think it's a little less you need to find next month.

Is it wrong that your little one didn't drink the £4 drink made me smirk?

Thank you so much for kind words of support! Means a lot!

I assume that I didn’t get the job. I would have been contacted by phone on Saturday or yesterday if I had it. I would have been notified by email if I had not. I haven’t had anything. The emails are done centrally so I guess the system just hasn’t caught up with itself.

It’s a shame because that extra bit of money would have helped me a lot.

    Back to the drawing board...

In good news though ... a pay rise of 3.3% a year. Think it amounts to roughly £50 a month.

Sorry hes being like that. I wonder if family are encouraging him to do it too? And like you say I wonder how much debt hes run up for them. Dont let it get you down. Just makes your focus on what you're doing sharper. Hes just someone you have to put up for now. Keep going Pidge xxxx

I’m in that no man’s land of being 10 days away from pay day!

Had a well-paid babysitting job at the weekend which has helped a lot. Really wish this was more regular.

I didn’t get any of the 3 part time weekend jobs I went for! What’s wrong with me?!

Selling small items here and there.

Feel like nothing is moving (but know it is really).

I have been offered my next 3 car services for a one off payment of £199 ... a saving of £300. It’s about now I wish I had a car savings pot!

I need a separate income boot to tackle the credit card.

Next month is looking so tight already...3 birthday parties in the first 5 days after pay day.

I need for there to be a money tree which I can shake!

Just opened DC’s book bag ... another invitation to a party so that’s 4 presents next month. Husband said he will help.

That’s interesting you say that today - my husband was talking tonight about a colleague who has applied for 8 jobs and got nothing. There was a huge long list of people being interviewed when I went for those job interviews.
