I really want to be clear of my credit card, loan and 2 overdrafts by August 2020. To do this, I need to pay an extra £80 a month off my credit card which I can only do if I have a regular second income from weekend work. Today I applied for a job in a shop for 6 hours over a weekend which would be perfect. It wouldn’t take me away from my daughter for too long and that would be my extra payment off my credit card. I also applied for a weekend job a the same shop where I worked as a Saturday girl 27 years ago! That would take me away from my daughter for too many hours. I could really do with something on a Saturday night so it wouldn’t take up too much of our time together.

I’ve found and we have done some lovely free activities this holiday! The day I spent some money on activities was the most stressful and least enjoyable day of the holiday!

I did an Aldi shop which was very successful. Freezer is full. Store cupboard is full.

I have started to look at my outgoings for May to plan my budget. No birthdays so far!! Hooray!!

I saw this morning that my credit score has gone up. I know it doesn’t mean a lot in real terms but it was a lift for my spirits.

I have a big pile of stuff which I need to sell. Really struggling to find the time to do that. I think I need to do it in bits.

    Hey Pidge

I have to start selling stuff to as my spare room looks like road runner went through it and the dust is still not settled.

I ate junk food all day and drank pop all day too...feel yuck now.

See you soon my little Pidge xxx

I have listed 9 things for sale!!

8 of them are Easter related - how good would it have been if I had listed them a week earlier?!

And imagine if I had got them listed earlier this evening so I might have felt the benefit of Sunday night traffic - I read once that Sunday nights see the most traffic on eBay.

Blimey I have wasted a lot of money in the past on things I really didn’t need/couldn’t afford.

Reaching for great chunks of my daughter’s chocolate Easter egg right now....

Hello pidge, I'm amazed at the progress you've made in such a short space of time. You'll definitely get that debt paid off once and for all! You've given me the motivation to have a good sort out and get some things listed for sale.

Some great news! Logged into my bills account today (where there is a £750 overdraft limit which I will start to tackle in January 2020) to check there’s enough for the rent tomorrow. £223 paid in by British Gas! We were £223 in credit. What a lovely surprise!
