Posivibes heading in your direction, Jazee x
1.5 bags sorted. I found the fruit peelings from last Thursday's Toddler Group - they are already rotting so will be added directly to the compost rather than the kitchen bin :eek:0 -
Am depressed now.. Just weighed myself and I'm 14st 6lb..that means I've put a stone on in 18mths:eek:. So I'm going to make myself accountable to you all to lose about a stone and a half now.

Morning
Piggers just how fast was Jasper born, if it was nearly in the foyer.?
Blimey you have all been busy, I didn't wake up this morning until 7am very unusual for me, and that was only because there was a soft paw batting at my face!
OH is away, he normally early feeds the cat at 6am, it seems the cat took matters in his own paws today and wanted me up to feed him.
Ironing is done
Eby parcel is posted
Off to act as driver today for some one who is having an operation and must not drive, so packed into the car my gardening magasine and some vat accounts work to do!!

I hope yesterday's tax meeting went well, ATB.
Congratulations to Mr Dizzy.
Good luck to Rosie and Ionafan.
Last week I cleaned the oven to the most sparkling it's been since it was installed about 17 years ago and on Sunday a nectarine and blueberry crumble dripped a large pool of juice in it, which was a bit predictable really. I slapped an evil chemical on the baked on gunge yesterday and this morning I wiped it all clean. That's a first - keeping up with keeping something clean. It's taken five years of flying to get me to that stage but it felt really good seeing it all gleaming again without having to make an event of it.Better is good enough.0 -

He was crowning in the doorway so they sat DD1 in a wheelchair and puched him back in while they got to the delivery ward.. and they RAN.. 4 mw's stripped DD's pants and he was born less than 6 minutes after OH dropped her off.. they didn't even have time to ask her name!
She had a PPH overnight which is now under control so she will be staying in tonight as well probably .. we shall see.
Dentist done until January for OH and the pinks. Twinkle was not compliant but the other 3 love going.. the dentist is wonderful with them and lets them look in OH's mouth and explains what she is doing and everything.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Might I request some brilliant obedience vibes for Rosie tomorrow, please, as she is taking her Kennel Club Silver award?
Oh, and welcome Jasper - if he continues his life at that rate, his mum won't have much chance for a sit-down any time soon!Love the name - the only Jasper I have ever known was a Rottie Cross, but he was a super chap.
Jazee more interview posivibes (and for anyone else with interviews - brainfog has kicked in and I can't remember all I've read).
Some good news (for once) Buddy & Indi were due to arrive 16:00 tomorrow, had a text from their Dad this morning asking to bring them at 11:00 - so an extra 5 hours to get to know them and get them settled before their first meal here and their first night away from home. (First EVER night away from home in Indi's case).
I have rehomed my bag from the floor under the table onto my desk, ready for their arrival, and Mr LW has been told NOT to leave his socks lying around. (Indi is a known Eater of Socks). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Oh my word, Piggers...your first post and photo definitely made me broody for a moment, then I read the second one. I'm so not broody now!
Good luck vibes heading your way, Jazee and Iona.
Well done Mr Dizzy. Fab news. Also LW - glad you are getting new friends to stay.
Busy busy morning at work - roll on the end of term, as I came home with a pounding headache. Just Thursday morning to go....
Today's efforts have consisted off doing the school run through 4 - yes 4!! - new sets of roadworks, running wm, dw still going, cleaning off muddy boots from the weekend and half hearted writing of a shopping list for tomorrow. The window cleaner has just been, so now there are no excuses - the filth is on the inside. But I do have a shiny finished bathroom for the first time since we moved in nearly 12 years ago! If I complain about cleaning it in the future, please just slap me.0 -
Afternoon all. I think the interview went well but you can never tell. If offered at the right rate, I'm likely to take this one.
Dogs have had their second walk. Recycling has been sorted.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Survived the meeting. Several ££££ lighter due to some daft errors on my part but it's done.
Wine now. Will report back properly tomorrow!MFW
