I may attempt something of a bimble (thanks for the word Roundtuit). If I can locate where my GUAG has disappeared to. Really all I want to do is sit here and cry.
At least Scrimpers is going well; I have managed to earmark sufficient funds to pay for our holiday hotel in May.
Slinky not going well. Zero weight lost, I feel fat and frumpy, and I have beastly indigestion to add insult to injury. Bah!!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Thank you muchly for the new thread! :T
Have done the basics today, kitchen swish here n there, dishes sorted and meals done.
Took my Ma to town, which is a feat in itself, she hates noise, people and well town:rotfl:
Sadly her bank closed earlier in the year and the nearest branch is in my town.. Am making arrangements for her to change banks next week..
Also attempted to calm her regards to the big brown envelope that arrived declaring that after 18 years on DLA she must apply for PIP.. Full on melt down which in turn set off my anxiety and panic mode:o:(
It will all be ok, I'm sure.. (Though I too now wish to be hiding.. )
Hugs and spoons for everyone who may be in need xx"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -
thanks for new lists.
Had a nice weekend at my mums then went on to see bil. Actually managed 2 runs from mum's, must say it was almost pleasant running next to the sea apart from the steep slope up to the road.
This week is likely to be manic.
Assessments at uni Wed and Thurs. I student for 2hrs 1:1 on Thurs also.
Collecting church lilies Wed am and have to find time to arrange them before Sunday.
Brother arriving Thurs eve.
SIL arriving Fri am.
Saturday am is my long-awaited Park Run and the forecast is either rain or snow. Brother and SIL taking me out to brunch afterwards.
This morning I went to gym and did 2 classes.
Mr N and I went to garden centre and got a few things off the list - various birthday, anniversary cards; birthday presents, Easter ditto so at least the list looks shorter......until I add to it 'plant hanging basket (SIL birthday present so needs to be ready by Fri), sow seeds (which somehow fell into my basket), write and post cards.
Have started but not finished unpacking bag from weekend.
Have a report which needs finishing.
We are away the next weekend at a motor bike rally in Somerset and again, the weather forecast is not good. The following w/e my mum is coming up to stay and we have various things planned.
So.....I may come on here just to breathe!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Congratulations Pigpen and family.
DS to docs. Doctor unfriendly and seemed to only want to speak when she had to. Why do people do that kind of job if they are like that with patients? DS coped really well.
Family fed roast chicken. Kitchen cleaned, a few bits of necessary ironing done. Will just swish kitchen floor then feet up.
Sending a little bit of strength and coping vibes to LW. I wish I could tell you that I knew how to beat it but I dont. Hope tomorrow is a better day x0 -

Congratulations, Pigpen, and to your family.
Narc0, I am exhausted just reading your post:D.
LW - more hugs and coping vibes for you, sorry there is nothing else that I can do for you.X
Thinking of you tomorrow atb. It will be a relief when it's all done and dusted.
It's been a long old day, and who made it back to being dark again in the mornings?? Didn't like that at all. Having been awake since 3am, I guess it made little difference really. I think that I've just about managed the dailies today, although DH did switch the wm on when he got home, and even thought to hang the wet towels outside to dry. :A. I'm writing a list of lists atm (thank goodness for notebooks, roundtuit), which is now starting to mildly panic me, so I need to get a grip and sort out what I need to do by when.
Tomorrow I'm doing an extra morning in work, then hopefully there will be some time in the afternoon to get to the lists. Catch you all in the morning.0 -
Lovely lazy day - went for a stroll around a quiet shopping area that was my childhood stomping ground and got waylaid by the pub for lunch
. Then, because of the [strike]ale [/strike]walking, we both said at the same time that a nap would be nice! We're OLD! He dozed off, I listened to the Archers Omnibus on headphones, the Idiot Cat decided to be sensible and curl up at the bottom of the bed and I'm feeling massively relaxed compared to usual - although the two and bit days to get through at work probably has something to do with it.
I even had the energy to scoop up the last bits of clothing dumped down the side of the bed and shove them into the linen bin. And Himself cleaned the bath after he used it, so it's still pristine.
I'm having a good day.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
