Then perhaps you should have taken her at her word until or unless she came crying to you about "the lads'" off-colour remarks. This has not happened yet you feel you can treat her the way you do?
I cannot understand why she would want to work for someone who comes across as creepy as you do, OP (see fairylights' Benny Hill remark) I wonder from whom "the lads" get the impression their conduct is acceptable. Do you have any female customers who could potentially overhear them? I suspect not.0 -

How did you make that clear?

I’ve had a chat with the guy in question to understand things better. I haven’t mentioned the complaint, I just mentioned that there was a few things mentioned and I thought it was worth having a more in-depth chat about it. I didn’t mention what I’ve been told, I’ve just tried to check his information out.
They had originally been connected on Facebook and whatever happened, they weren’t. She then sent him a friend request which he didn’t accept.
About a month later she sent him a message and asked him if they could have a call and from the sounds of it she said she liked him and I don’t really know what else. He told her to stop messaging him. That was about 6/7 months ago.
She’s messaged him again which is why he came to us, he said it’s a bit much.
I’ve left it that we will sort it properly and explained that we need to have good working relationships so it should important to resolve the problem like adults.0 -

I will wait and speak to HR before responding to her.
This is definitely not a troll thread. I wish it was as my weekend would be looking a hell of a lot better.
Why must she want to work this out? I suspect she's quite angry, and has every right to be. It's not up to her to 'work it out', it's up to you to at least apologise, then treat the matter seriously and make sure you've covered all the bases here. From what you've said, she could sue the pants off you.
You may also want to consider asking for this thread to be deleted. How do you know she isn't reading?0 -
For her to read the thread, there!!!8217;d be no reason for her to look on here I guess?0

And as for her wanting to work it out, I am assuming that she wants to because she has raised a complaint. I assume that she obviously wants it resolved properly.0

This is one of the biggest websites in the UK. If not her, maybe someone in her family, or one of her friends. You do know that women talk to each other? You at least know that much?0 -

resolved properly does not necessarily mean working it out

I'm not sure i'd believe a word this guys says TBH. I'd take his "she likes me" comment with a massive pinch of salt.0 -
